There are eight Premier League games on a busy Saturday this weekend, including a London derby in the early kick-off as West Ham entertain Chelsea.

Manchester United head to Crystal Palace in the late game as Erik ten Hag’s men look to build on back-to-back wins, after thrashing League One outfit Barnsley 7-0 in the EFL Cup in midweek.

Southampton are still seeking their first points of the new season and they have a home game against fellow promoted side Ipswich.

Everton are the only other side yet to get off the mark and they make the trip to last season’s Championship winners Leicester.

Liverpool saw their perfect start to the season ended as they slipped to a loss to Nottingham Forest last weekend and they entertain Bournemouth, while Aston Villa host Midlands rivals Wolves.

West Ham vs Chelsea

Chelsea have made a solid start to the season under new boss Enzo Maresca and they head to West Ham as favourites, but the standout bet here could be backing goals at both ends.

The Hammers are yet to draw a blank this season in any competition and both teams to score has been a winning bet in three of their four league assignments, including both of their home games against champions Manchester City and Aston Villa.

Chelsea drew a blank against City in their opener but have scored in all six games since across all competitions, with both teams scoring in three of their last four.

BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE

Aston Villa vs Wolves

Aston Villa secured a top four finish last season and the early signs suggest they can challenge for Champions League involvement again.

Unai Emery’s men have nine points from a possible 12 so far, losing only to title hopefuls Arsenal, and they made a strong start to their European campaign with a 3-0 win over Young Boys on Tuesday.

In contrast, Wolves seem set for a season of struggle and with 11 goals conceded in just four games they have statistically the second-worst defence in the division.

Villa have hit six goals across their last two games and have scored at least twice in all of their wins so they look capable of covering a -1 handicap.

VILLA -1 HANDICAP

Fulham vs Newcastle

The player markets might be the best approach for Fulham’s clash with Newcastle, which looks a hard result to call, and the standout option here is a card for visiting midfielder Joelinton.

The Brazilian had six yellow cards in 20 games last term and is already on three this season after just four rounds of fixtures.

Joelinton has picked up a card in each of his last three Premier League outings and is averaging a hefty three fouls-per-game, making him a clear contender for a booking against the Cottagers.

JOELINTON TO BE SHOWN A CARD

Leicester vs Everton

Everton have four defeats in as many games in the Premier League and they also lost on penalties to Southampton in the EFL Cup in midweek.

The Merseysiders have blown 2-0 leads in each of their last two league games, losing 3-2 at home to Bournemouth and by the same scoreline at Villa last week.

Hosts Leicester haven’t managed a win yet but have put in a couple of solid performances in draws with Spurs and Crystal Palace, and the visit of this out-of-sorts Everton side looks a great chance to claim a first three points of the season.

LEICESTER TO WIN

Bet On The Premier League

Liverpool vs Bournemouth

Liverpool made the trip to Milan in midweek in the Champions League when they bounced back from last weekend’s shock 1-0 home defeat to Nottingham Forest in style by winning 3-1 in the San Siro.

An anytime assist from Trent Alexander-Arnold appeals against the Cherries as he has two in his last three games for club and country - including setting up the Reds’ equaliser on Tuesday in Europe.

The marauding full-back hasn’t managed a league assist yet but has created three big chances according to the official Premier League website so it wouldn’t be a surprise if he sets up a goal against Bournemouth.

TRENT ALEXANDER-ARNOLD ANYTIME ASSIST

Southampton vs Ipswich

Ipswich did the league double over Southampton in the Championship last season and as underdogs they look backable to leave St Mary’s with maximum points on Saturday.

Saints are yet to get off the mark, while the visitors have managed back-to-back draws and have had a few extra days to prepare for this clash as they didn’t have a midweek cup assignment.

IPSWICH TO WIN

Tottenham vs Brentford

Tottenham have been architects of their own downfall in their last two league fixtures as they have nothing to show from games against Newcastle and Arsenal, despite dominating both of those games for spells.

The visit of Brentford offers them a chance to make amends and with five wins in their last eight home games - losing only to Man City and Arsenal (twice) during that run - they look well placed to claim maximum points.

Spurs have conceded in three of their four Premier League games and a Brentford consolation effort is expected. The Bees have only failed to score in one of their six games across all competitions and they were able to strike in defeat against City last weekend.

TOTTENHAM TO WIN & BTTS

Crystal Palace vs Manchester United

Crystal Palace beat Manchester United in both league meetings last season and the Eagles can continue their unlikely dominance in the late game on Saturday.

United’s poor start to the season has been masked by a 3-0 win at Southampton in the last round of league games and then a 7-0 demolition of Barnsley in midweek, but Palace may be able to bring them back down to earth.

United were second best in the opening exchanges against Saints and had Andre Onana not saved a penalty with the game still goalless it could have been a different result. Palace have put together a four-game unbeaten run ahead of this game and if they are able to put United under some pressure from the off they could well claim the points at Selhurst Park.

CRYSTAL PALACE TO WIN
