FanDuel TV Extra is a free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channel. The channel will show free live sports with ads. FanDuel has stated that it will show more live sports than any other FAST channel and believes it will become the premier destination for sports fans.
The channel is currently available through Pluto TV, Roku Channel, and several other streaming platforms. It can also be accessed through FanDuel TV+. The channel shows international sports competitions from around the world, including football, basketball, darts, tennis, and more.
Expanding FanDuel Content
The launch of FanDuel TV Extra is a strategic move for the operator as it continues to establish itself as not just a leading sportsbook, but also as a sports content provider. The company initially launched FanDuel TV in 2022 and it has been a roaring success.
Kevin Grigsby, the executive producer and vice-president of FanDuel TV has said he believes the new channel will boost customer acquisition and provide an excellent option for bettors looking to watch sports and bet simultaneously. Live sports and streaming have become a major part of customer acquisition strategies, with other major companies like ESPN also exploring this space.
Grigsby added that this launch is the next major step in the company’s continued expansion, adding that FanDuel TV Extra will allow them to reach new audiences. He also confirmed that the channel will be broadcasting over 12 hours of live sports daily.
