When you play Blackjack Quickseat, you are predicting that your hand of cards will get closer to 21 than the dealer’s. The live blackjack game has seats for seven players at a time and uses eight standard blackjack decks that undergo regular shuffling.
To play Blackjack Quickseat, you need to place the main bet during the betting phase. When the main phase begins, each player receives two cards. The dealer also receives two cards, though one of these is face-up for you to see.
Cards 2-10 are worth their face value and royals (J, Q and K) are also worth 10. The ace can be worth 1 or 11. It is possible for your first two cards to add up to 21 (i.e. you have an ace that you count as 11 and a card worth 10). If this is the case and the dealer does not have 21, you win. Likewise, if the dealer’s face-up card is an ace, they get to check their face-down card to see if it is worth 10. If it is, and you do not have 21, the dealer wins.
Providing no one has 21, the game proceeds as normal. There are several actions available, including hit (take an extra card), stand (receive no more cards), double down (double your bet and receive one last card) and split (split a hand with a pair in two for a cost equal to your bet).
For the main bet, the betting range is £10 to £2,500. All of the side bets have a minimum bet size of £1, though the maximum varies. It is £50 for the Top 3 bet, £100 for the 21+3 bet and £250 for the Player Pair / Dealer Pair bet.
If you use the Bet Behind feature and bet on another player, you can bet £1 to £500 on the main bet. For the side bets, the range is £1 to £25 for Top 3 and £1 to £100 for 21+3 and Player Pair / Dealer Pair.
Playtech has several live blackjack games in its portfolio. Some of these are simple games that stick to traditional gameplay, while others have extra features that enhance the gaming experience. Summaries of some of the most popular Playtech live blackjack games are below so you can see what the provider’s other live blackjack titles are like.
In this live blackjack game, each round a selection of cards receive a multiplier. If you have a multiplier in your hand and win, the multiplier will apply to your payout. The number of multipliers and their values all vary.
Mega Fire Blaze Blackjack is similar to Playtech’s Mega Fire Blaze Roulette in how its bonus round works. The round has five levels and the one you play depends on how many points all the game’s blackjack hands collectively earn. The higher the level, the bigger the multiplier you can win. You need to place a side bet to qualify.
This live dealer blackjack game offers the following side bets: 21+3, Top 3 and Player Pair / Banker Pair. There is also the Bust bet, another side bet that pays if the dealer goes bust. A key feature of AllBets Blackjack is that no matter how many other players are taking part, it looks like it is just you against the dealer.
Playtech’s other live blackjack games are worth checking out thanks to their design, gameplay and features. Majority Rules Speed Blackjack gets players to decide on each move and Cashback Blackjack lets you forfeit your hand for a cash payout before the dealer acts on their hand.
There are three optional side bets that you can place when playing Blackjack Quickseat. There is also insurance, which only becomes available if you place the main bet and the dealer’s face-up card is an ace. You will find information about these and other features below.
This side bet pays out if the player’s first two cards and the dealer’s face-up card form a three-card poker hand. There are five different payouts in total and the higher the hand’s ranking, the bigger the payout. This side bet’s RTP is 96.3%.
The Top 3 side bet is similar to 21+3 in that it looks at the player’s first two cards and the dealer’s face-up card and sees if they form a three-card poker hand. It has three payouts and these are higher than the 21+3 bet. The RTP of the Top 3 side bet is 91%.
For this side bet to win, either the player’s first two cards or the dealer’s first two cards have to form a pair. The Player Pair / Dealer Pair side bet’s RTP is 95.9%.
If the dealer’s face-up card is an ace, you can pay half your original bet to place the insurance bet. This wins if the dealer’s face-down card is worth 10, i.e. it is 10, J, Q or K.
Blackjack Quickseat has seven seats in total. You can join more than one if there is space. The Bet Behind feature is ideal for when players have taken up all the seats. What it does is it lets you bet on another player’s hand. You bet on a player and if they win, you win; likewise, if they lose, you do too.
This option may become available if there are not many players taking part. If it does, you will be able to click a button to request that the betting phase end early.
