Gift X

Gift X is BGaming’s Christmas-themed crash game, released on 1 December 2023, and it swaps the usual rockets and planes for Santa Claus flying across a winter sky with a sleigh full of presents. Place one or two bets, watch Santa’s flight push the multiplier higher, and cash out before he disappears into the night. The official top end is 10,000x your stake, with a £250,000 max win cap, while the RTP sits at 97% on BGaming’s own page, with some versions listed in the 96.88% to 98.92% range.

How to Play Gift X

Gift X - Basegame

Gift X is a crash game, so there is no classic slot layout to explain. Your job is simple: place one or two bets, watch Santa’s sleigh move across the graph, and cash out before he disappears. The X-axis tracks flight time, while the Y-axis shows the multiplier climbing. That is the full mechanic, and to be fair, crash games do not need much more than that.

BGaming lists the main RTP at 97%, while some versions of Gift X are also associated with a broader 96.88% to 98.92% range. The max win potential is up to 10,000x. You can make 1 or 2 bets in a single round, which gives the game a bit more tactical room than the most basic crash titles.

Risk is also very much in your own hands here. Cash out early, and you keep things relatively tame. Wait for bigger numbers, and you are basically asking Santa to test your patience and your bankroll at the same time.

Gift X Features

Gift X does not have bonus features in the usual slot sense. The key extras are support tools built around Santa’s flight and the rising multiplier. BGaming lists Auto Cash-out, Autoplay, Multiple Bets, and an on-screen Leaderboard as the main features.

Auto Cash-out Mode

Gift X - Auto Cash-out Mode

Auto Cash-out is the most practical feature in Gift X. You choose the exact multiplier where you want to collect, and the game cashes you out automatically if Santa gets there. That matters in a crash game because “I’ll wait one more second” has ruined more sessions than bad luck ever could.

Autoplay Mode

Gift X - Autoplay Mode

Autoplay lets you set a bet, choose the number of autoruns, and let the game handle the repetition for you. In Gift X, you can automate your luck strategy by defining both the number of runs and your desired cash-out multiplier. It is handy for fixed routines and short mobile sessions where you do not want to keep stabbing at the same buttons every few seconds.

Multiple Bets

Gift X - Multiple Bets

Gift X allows 1 or 2 bets in a single round, which gives it a bit more flexibility than the most stripped-back crash games. That means you can cash one bet out early for a safer return and let the second ride longer for a bigger multiplier. It makes the game more playable, especially if you like balancing caution with a touch of foolish optimism.

Gift X Interface, Theme & Sound

Gift X uses a Christmas theme, and unlike plenty of seasonal casino games, it does not feel like someone just glued a hat onto a generic template and called it festive. The whole thing looks properly wintry. You get a snowy night sky, Santa in his sleigh, reindeer in motion, and presents dropping whenever players cash out. It is one of the prettier crash games around, and BGaming’s art team clearly had more fun here than most developers do with this format.

What the game does have is a lot more personality than the average crash title. The soundtrack and sound effects lean into the holiday mood without becoming irritating, and the little visual touch of presents dropping on cash-out actually makes the action feel warmer than the usual rocket-and-graph routine.

Gift X Final Thoughts

Gift X is a pleasant crash game, and the Christmas theme does more work than I expected. Santa, the sleigh, the snowy sky, the presents dropping on cash-out … it all gives the game a warmer personality than the usual rocket or plane routine. I enjoyed that part.

BGaming also did a nice job with the visuals and the dual-bet setup, so the game is easy to like in short bursts.

Still, once the festive wrapping comes off, it is a fairly standard crash title underneath. The RTP can be good depending on the version, and the 10,000x ceiling is solid, but there is not much here beyond the usual Auto Cash-out, Autoplay, and two-bet flexibility.

I had a decent time with it. I just would not pretend it is one of the more essential crash games on the market.

Rating: 6 (Okay)

I gave Gift X a 6 because it looks lovely, runs smoothly, and has enough basic quality to stay enjoyable, but it does not do much beyond that. The Christmas theme is genuinely refreshing, the 1 or 2 bet setup is useful, and BGaming’s presentation is strong. On the other hand, it is still a fairly standard crash game with no real bonus content, and its main features are the same support tools you see elsewhere in the genre.
