Crazy Balls should prove quite familiar if you’ve played bingo, but it can get a bit overwhelming at first. This is because when you first start playing you need to place your bets on the cards found in the bottom of your screen. You can choose how many cards you want to play (from 1 to 4), and the type of bet you want to place. In this case you get two options, Free Space or Multi. In addition you get a selection of four bonus round cards. Placing a bet on these will allow you to play the respective bonus game should it be triggered.
Once the betting phase is over it’s time for the game proper to start. All cards get a random selection of numbers, free spaces, and multipliers, and the machine located in the middle of the studio starts drawing balls. The machine holds a total of 60 balls, each with a different number, and draws 20 balls per round. Once a ball is drawn its number will be automatically marked off any of your cards. Just like in bingo, getting a win requires you to form a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal line of drawn numbers on one or any of your cards, with your final payout determined by the number of completed lines, any activated multipliers, and bet amount.
For the curious, Free Space cards can pay out anything from 2x to up to 39x your bet, while Multi card wins range from 2x to up to 199x.
We’ve mentioned how Crazy Balls has four bonus rounds derived from Crazy Time. Remember how we mentioned that you can activate 4 bonus cards? These can be activated if you manage to fill any of them up. With this in mind let’s take a look at what each round involves.

This is exactly what it sounds like - a coin with red and blue sides is flipped! This involves a launching machine activated by the host. Each side of the coin has a multiplier, and the one that lands determines your payout.

The Cash Hunt round is a shooting gallery involving a grid of 108 squares. Each square holds a multiplier that is hidden by a symbol. Select your symbol and, once the countdown is over, the cannon will shoot at it to reveal the multiplier. If multiple players activate this round then they’ll be shooting at the same time, adding to the competitive aspect of the game. The multipliers available during this round can reach up to 500x.

As you might expect from the name, the Pachinko round involves a peg board. On top of the peg board are 16 drop zones, while underneath are 16 landing zones each with either a random multiplier or a “Double” value. The host drops the puck from a random drop zone. If it lands in a multiplier zone then this will be multiplied to your bet and if it lands in a Double then all multipliers are doubled and you get another drop on the board. This way the multipliers can potentially reach up to 10,000x!

Crazy Time brings you a round of, yes, Crazy Time! The host opens the secret red door to reveal the full Crazy Time setup with the giant 64-segment wheel and three flappers. Choose your flapper (green, blue, or yellow) before the host spins the wheel. This way you can win the multiplier on the segment landed at your chosen flapper. If the segment reads “Double” then all multipliers on the wheel will be doubled for another spin of the wheel. This round holds the key to this game’s biggest potential win of 20,000x the stake.
By this point Evolution is a well-known quality in live casino gaming, and Crazy Balls is no exception as far as quality is concerned. The game takes place in a big and colourful set, with a lively and helpful host ready to get the action moving. Like Crazy Time the game is available 24/7, with most online casinos getting at least one Crazy Balls room ready to play at.
We have to make special mention of the bonus rounds, as each of these involves a physical prop situated somewhere in the studio. These are paired with multiple camera coverage that switches between viewpoints like a truly professional game show. Add an exciting soundtrack and you get a game show that truly gets you up and playing in no time!
The potential payouts you can get from Crazy Balls depend on your choice of bet, how many lines you manage to form on your cards, and whether you manage to activate a bonus round. The game itself has an overall RTP of 96.1%, and the maximum win can reach up to 20,000x. That said, the bingo cards can get you wins of up to 39x your bet if you go for a Free Space card or up to 199x the stake if you go for a Multi card.
Moving on to the bonus rounds each one has a different RTP and payout potential. The Coin Flip has a win potential of up to 150x the stake with an RTP of 96.49%. The Cash Hunt round has an RTP of 96.09% and wins that can reach up to 500x. The multipliers available during the Pachinko round can reach a maximum of 10,000x through the Double feature, as well as an RTP of 95.68%, while the Crazy Time round has an RTP of 95.54% and the game’s ultimate potential payout of 20,000x the stake.
Like all other Evolution game shows Crazy Balls has been developed using HTML5. This means a seamless experience no matter the device you play on, be it a PC or smartphone. Of course do note that a strong internet connection is required for stable video streaming, but the UI fits surprisingly well even on smaller displays.
Fantastic studio reminiscent of the one used in Crazy Time.
Energetic and friendly hosts.
4 different bonus rounds.
Wins that can reach up to 20,000x the stake.
Great betting range to suit all players and pockets.
Evolution hit the jackpot when it released Crazy Time, and we have to say that it has managed to do it again with Crazy Balls. The pairing of bingo gameplay and Crazy Time bonus rounds is genius, leading to truly unique sessions as you look to complete the cards for a payout. The same goes for linking the bonus rounds to their own cards, and the fact you can decide on not only how much you want to bet, but what exactly you want to bet on, is another great touch that shows Evolution knows what the players want. Colourful visuals, professional hosts, unique gameplay, familiar bonus rounds, what’s not to like?
