First Person Dream Catcher Game Review

Evolution’s First Person Dream Catcher is a non-live version of the original game show, featuring slick 3D graphics and a virtual wheel. In this First Person Dream Catcher review, we will break down the main components of the game: the payouts on offer, the basic structure, and more. First Person Dream Catcher uses a Random Number Generator (RNG) to achieve the same random, fair gameplay that you would expect in the original. It takes place in a virtual studio with a bright, colourful design, and the famous Dream Catcher wheel stands proudly in the centre. Crucially, you can switch from First Person Dream Catcher to the live game at the touch of a button. This is ideal if you want to see what both have to offer. The live version is presented by glamorous hosts and streamed from Evolution’s Riga studio.

How to Play Evolution’s First Person Dream Catcher

How To Play

If you have already played the live version, you may find First Person Dream Catcher easier to pick up than complete newcomers. However, the structure and rules are still straightforward enough to make the gameplay accessible.

First Person Dream Catcher revolves around the wheel in the centre of the screen. This contains 54 segments of equal size. Fifty-two segments are numbered: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, and 40. The remaining segments carry multipliers (2x and 7x), and can multiply your winnings.

At the start of each round, the wheel will spin and gradually slow to a full stop. The aim of the game is to successfully predict the segment that will be randomly selected at the end of the spin, as indicated by the pointer at the top of the wheel.

To play, just bet on the numbered segment that you believe will be indicated by the pointer. Bets range from £0.10 to £2,500. The UI makes placing wagers on specific segments quick and simple. If you want to check the rules at any time, press the ‘?’ icon in the top-right corner.

The RNG will determine where the wheel will stop, randomly and fairly. If the wheel lands on your chosen segment, you will win the round. Payments are based on odds corresponding to the relevant segment number. For example, a winning bet on the ‘20’ segment will pay 20 to 1. Both the initial bet and winnings will be paid.

As mentioned, you can switch from First Person Dream Catcher to the original version within seconds. Push the ‘Go Live’ button in the bottom-right corner to be transported directly to the casino. You can join in and start placing bets as soon as the next round begins.

By allowing you to switch between both versions so easily, Evolution delivers a flexible player experience.

First Person Dream Catcher Bonus Games

There is one bonus game available in First Person Dream Catcher: the multiplier segments. These can boost the size of any payouts if the wheel stops at the right point.

Multipliers

The 2x and 7x segments function as bonus spins. If the wheel lands on either segment, your current bet will stay active and no new bets will be accepted. Push the ‘Spin’ button to re-spin the wheel and find out if you have won.

If the pointer indicates your chosen segment, you will win as usual, but your payout will be multiplied by two or seven depending on the multiplier awarded.

Languages, Hosts, and Presentation

First Person Dream Catcher is an RNG-based game played in a virtual environment. This means it is a solo game with no live presenters to move the action along. If you switch to the live version, you can try the full game show instead.

As with Dream Catcher, First Person Dream Catcher boasts stylish, crisp presentation. The virtual studio is similar to the live environment used for the original  game, particularly the wheel. With its coloured segments and massive size, the wheel is an eye-catching centrepiece.

The UI is simple and vibrant: six bank notes at the bottom of the wheel represent the different bets you can place. The ‘Spin’ button is right next to this section, so moving from wagering to spinning the wheel is quick and convenient.

At present, First Person Dream Catcher is only available in English.

Crazy Coin Flip Payouts

First Person Dream Catcher can award a variety of payouts depending on your bet and the winning segment. Winnings are capped at a massive 20,000x your bet or £500,000. The theoretical Return to Player (RTP) will be determined by your chosen bet.

Evolution’s First Person Dream Catcher Final Thoughts

First Person Dream Catcher is an impressive new take on the original game, featuring strong presentation and the potential for high payouts. The gameplay is quick and simple, even for first-time users: just place your bet, spin the wheel, and see if you chose the winning segment.

The multipliers are a fantastic inclusion, capable of increasing the size of your payouts at random. Crucially, you do not need to bet at a specific level to be in with a chance of landing a multiplier.

One possible issue is that the payouts can be small without a boost from the multipliers, with a maximum of 40x your bet available. Additionally, none of the possible RTPs are above 96%, and the lowest is below 89%. Keep these points in mind when deciding whether to play.
