How to Play Evolution’s War
This is a simple card game that pits the player against the dealer. During each round of War, you place a bet on whether your card will have a higher value than the casino’s.
The game is played with 8 standard decks containing 52 cards (without the Jokers). The Ace card carries the highest value, beating the Jack, Queen, and King. Suits are irrelevant.
Each round starts with eight seconds of betting time. In this brief window, you must decide whether you believe the Player card will be higher than the Casino’s. You can also make a Tie side bet, which we will cover in detail later in our War review.
You may wager between £0.50 and £2,500 in each round. But remember to set a betting limit for yourself before you play. Stick to this limit at all times, and exit the game when you reach this point (if not before).
Once the betting time ends, the dealer places two cards on the table: one in the Player position, the other in the Casino position. The winning card is clear immediately, and the round ends.
However, if the Player and Casino cards are of equal rank, War breaks out in a short bonus round.
War Bonus Games

Tie Side Bet
The Tie side bet allows you to wager on whether the Player and Casino cards will have a matching value. You can place the Tie side bet without making a main bet. If both cards have equal rank, you win.
You can place one Tie side bet per round. If multiple Ties occur in a row, the round plays out with your current bet with no additional wagers accepted. Payouts increase with each subsequent Tie.
The maximum number of Ties possible in a round is four. If four consecutive Ties occur, the round ends.
War Bonus Round
If a draw leads to a Tie, it is time for War. You have a brief period of time to decide whether to Surrender or Go To War.
If you click on the ‘Surrender’ button, you lose 50% of your bet. The round ends immediately.
If you tap the ‘Go To War’ button, this doubles your main bet and the round continues. But if you click on neither button, the game will automatically choose Surrender on your behalf.
After the ‘Go To War’ button is pressed, the dealer discards three face-down cards then deals an extra face-up card to both positions. If the Player card is higher than the Casino card, you win your original bet. But if the Casino card beats the Player card, you lose your doubled bet instead.
A Tie may occur during the bonus round. If this happens, the above process plays out again until a winner emerges. A maximum of four consecutive Ties are allowed.
