Evolution Video Poker Game Review

If you have played a conventional video poker or live poker game before, you should find Evolution’s Video Poker easy to pick up. It is played with a standard deck featuring 52 playing cards, without jokers, and the goal is to build the best hand of five cards that you possibly can. This may consist of the first five cards dealt to you or cards received later in the game. 

To start with, you will need to pick which paytable (or variation) you want to use. The five options available are:

• Jacks or Better 
• Tens or Better
• Deuces Wild
• Bonus Poker
• Double Double Bonus Poker

In all variations, the maximum number of hands is capped at 100 in each round. Once you have chosen your game type, the betting phase will begin. You will have 15 seconds to decide how much you want to wager on each hand and how many hands you would like to play. 

After the betting phase ends, the dealer will deal five cards from a freshly shuffled deck onto the table. All of these cards will be face up. It is up to you to choose the cards you would like to hold and which to remove. You can hold any number of them, from zero to five. However, if you take no action, the game will make a default choice for you. 

Any cards not held will be replaced with new ones dealt by the RNG system, picked at random from the 47 cards left in the deck. This applies to all additional hands. Finally, any winning hands will be highlighted using a colour-coded system to help you understand how much you have won.
