Playtech Live Video Poker Lobby brings you a slick selection of poker games, all streamed live from European studios. In our Playtech Live Poker Lobby review, we’ll explore the different games available, the prizes, and much more. You can choose from several live poker games, whether you want to try Millionaire Video Poker based on a long-running TV quiz show or something a bit more traditional. The RTP and payouts for games in the Playtech Live Poker Lobby vary significantly.
You can find the Playtech Live Poker Lobby at many online poker sites — check our list of the best sites below.
At the time of writing this review, Playtech Live Poker Lobby provides you with a selection of seven games to play. These are:
When you open the lobby at an online casino, you’ll be greeted with a thumbnail image for each game. Not every game is available at all times, but even if one you specifically want to play is closed, you should still be able to join multiple other tables.
The rules vary from game to game. But you can easily find the information you need before you start playing: just push the ‘i’ icon in the sidebar menu for ‘Game Info’ or the ‘up/down’ icon for ‘Limits & Payouts’.
As mentioned above, you can choose from seven different games in the Playtech Live Poker Lobby. Let’s look at four of the games available:
Playtech has built this live poker game around Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, the beloved quiz show. Incredibly, you can choose from five video poker games here — all you need to do is switch between paytables during the betting phase.
A key component of Millionaire Video Poker is the Millionaire Game, featuring 10 levels and the potential to collect big multipliers as you climb the prize ladder.
Casino Hold ‘em is a classic version of poker. Payouts range from 1:1 for a Straight or lower to 100:1 for a Royal Flush. You can make a Bonus bet and Casino Razz side bet during the betting phase, too.
3 Card Brag is a single-deck game played with three cards each for you and the dealer. Your cards are dealt face up, whereas the dealer’s are always dealt face down. You need to assess the quality of your hand and decide whether you want to play or fold.
The aim of Bet On Poker is fairly simple: you wager on one, two, or three bet types, predicting which of six card positions will achieve the best combination. There are plenty of bet types to choose from, including Flush, Full House, and others you would expect to see.
The Playtech Live Poker Lobby offers an impressive variety of in-game features.
We can’t cover all of them here, so we’ll look at a selection of three instead.
The Millionaire Game is only available to players who activate the Millionaire bet, which is five times your stake per hand. Players need to guess which of various options has the top multiplier, then climb the prize ladder and collect multipliers as they go.
The Pair Plus side bet pays out if your hand contains a Pair or better. For example, a Running Flush awards a payout of 30:1, while a Pair pays 1:1.
The Mega Bonus side bet uses your cards and the dealer’s to form the strongest poker hand of five cards possible. The biggest win available is the Royal Flush — 2,000:1.
With several poker games to play in the lobby, payouts can differ. As an example of the wins available, though, we’ll break down the full list of payouts up for grabs in Casino Hold’em.

The dealers all speak English, and I couldn’t find any way to change the UI language in the settings menus.
As I mentioned earlier in this review, not all of the games operate round the clock. A countdown timer is displayed for each game that’s currently unavailable, so you can see how long you need to wait before a space is available at those tables.
