3 Runaway Riches has one bonus feature, the Hold and Win round. Let’s see what it involves. 

Hold and Win feature 

The Hold and Win feature in 3 Runaway Riches can be triggered by 2 ways. The first is randomly whenever you land a coin symbol. Second, if a coin does not trigger the Hold and Win round it will be collected by the train of the same colour, causing it to grow randomly in size. Once the train reaches the maximum size it will trigger the feature. 

The Hold and Win feature consists of 3 respins with which to land as many more coins on the reels as possible. You’ll notice the feature actually takes place of 2 sets of reels, one of which is locked. Landing at least 1 coin resets the number of respins back to 3. Coins can either hold cash values or a special feature as follows: 

• Red (Extra Board) - unlocks the second set of reels, allowing you to play this round on both simultaneously. 
• Green (Upgrader) - adds more special bonus symbols to the reels then upgrades their values. 
• Blue (Extra Spins) - increases the number of respins to 4. 

We’ve mentioned regular coins hold cash prizes, but there are also jackpot coins holding Mini, Minor, Major, and Mega prizes. These are worth 15x, 50x, 150x, and 1,000x the stake respectively. Fill all 15 spaces of a set of reels for the Grand prize of 5,000x the stake. If you fill both sets of reels with coins then you’ll get two Grand prizes worth a total of 10,000x the bet.

3 Runaway Riches is fine, but that’s just about it. There’s nothing wrong with it other than a slightly low RTP, but it’s also fairly generic with fairly simple visuals and a straightforward hold and spin-style feature that’s only brightened by the chance to play on two sets of reels. As such it all makes for a somewhat above average slot, if one with the perhaps unique pairing of fruit machine and Wild West visuals.
