9K Yeti Gold retains the visual style of the original 9K Yeti, but updates it subtly to reflect both the advancement in slot technology and current player tastes. It’s still set in the icy mountains, where the fearsome yeti lies in wait for hapless climbers. Snow drifts across the screen and symbols feature simple animations, lending the game a sense of weight and life that’s always welcome. 

The titular yeti is the highest paying symbol, followed by the two mountaineers and their tent. The pickaxe and climbing ropes are the mid pays, while the low pays consist of the K, Q, J, and 10 card royals. 9K Yeti Gold is a welcome return of an enjoyable slot, one that’s boosted with improved visuals and enhanced bonus features. The coins are a nice touch, as they can lead to not only the  Avalanche and Snowstorm features, but also a chance at extra cash prizes. Our main complaint really is the RTP, which at 94.08% is too low for any self-respecting slot, especially when it’s a high volatility number. That said this remains an enjoyable slot, just don’t expect many winning spins out of it.
