Wild Symbol

Wild symbols only appear in the Free Spins feature. They substitute for all symbols except the Scatter and Money symbols.

Money Symbol

Fish are Money symbols. Each Money symbol carries a random prize value taken from a pre-defined list: 2x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 200x, 500x, or 5,000x your bet. However, you can only win Money symbol prizes in the Free Spins feature.

Free Spins Feature

Match 3, 4, or 5 Scatters to win 15, 20, or 25 free spins, respectively. But even if you get just two Scatters in the base game, a third one may randomly land to trigger the feature.

Both Wild symbols collect the values from all Money symbols on the reels. All Wilds that land during the feature are also collected. Every fourth Wild symbol awards 10 more free spins and increases the multiplier for Money symbol collection. 

The first, second, and third retrigger boost the multiplier to 2x, 3x, and 10x, respectively. After the third retrigger, no more retriggers are available.

Random modifiers can trigger in the Free Spins feature too: 

• If Wild symbols land without Money symbols, new Money symbols may hit in random positions.
• If Money symbols hit without Wild symbols, a random reel may pull Wilds into view.
• If Wilds appear without Money symbols, a Bass-Zooka! animation can change all non-Wilds into other symbols.

Taken on its own merits, Big Bass Football Bonanza is a decent slot. It has a strong Free Spins feature with random modifiers, a 96.50% theoretical RTP, and low volatility, creating the potential for regular wins. The top prize available is average but fine at 5,000x your bet too.

Newcomers to the Big Bass series may be impressed and entertained by all that the game has to offer. However, if you’ve played other Big Bass slots, you might find this one overly familiar.
