Sometimes it’s nice to have a slot tell you what it’s all about through the title alone. This is definitely the case with Blueprint Gaming’s Diamond Jackpots. Here is a slot that, yes, involves diamonds and indeed offers a jackpot prize. The jackpot comes through Blueprint’s own progressive Jackpot King feature, which can grow to impressive amounts given the time. But is this all what Diamond Jackpots involves? There’s one way to find out, and that’s to read our definitive Diamond Jackpots review until the end.

Diamond Jackpots keeps things straightforward as far as gameplay goes - it indeed consists of 5 reels, 3 rows, and 10 paylines. Interestingly the paylines can be formed from any position on the reels, so long they consist of 3 matching symbols on adjacent reels.
The RTP of Diamond Jackpots is admittedly on the lower side, since it is 94.12%. For the record, the average slot game RTP stands at 96%. The volatility is high, and in our experience it does mean lots of losing spins before you get a winning combination. Speaking of winning combinations, payouts can total up to 10,000x the stake. You can potentially win such a sum by filling all 5 reels with the highest paying diamond symbols.
However the above mentioned maximum payout can take place through the regular symbols. Payouts can actually get even bigger through the Jackpot King progressive jackpot feature. We’ll detail this further later on in this Diamond Jackpots review.
There are lots of different online casinos where you can play Diamond Jackpots. Here is my pick of the best slot sites:

Just like the gameplay, Diamond Jackpot keeps things simple in the visual department. The background appears to be some kind of dark blue fabric with a starry pattern, while the reels are transparent and bordered in gold. Audio is minimal, consisting of a simple tune and “thud” sound effects that play out whenever you spin the reels.
On these you’ll find the symbols, of which there are 9. The high pays are, of course, gems. These are the big diamond with the red fabric background and the red, blue, and green gems. Meanwhile the low pays consist of the familiar A, K, Q, J, and 10 card royals. Last, and rarest, on the reels are the crowns. These are the symbols tied to the Jackpot King feature, which is triggered if 5 land anywhere on the reels.
Let’s check how much the symbols are worth:
Diamond Jackpots actually has no bonus features other than Jackpot King, something we’ll detail in this review’s next section!
Diamond Jackpots’ headline feature is, of course, the jackpot. This comes through Blueprint’s in-house progressive jackpot network, Jackpot King. This offers 3 jackpot prizes whose current values are on display on top of the reels. To trigger the feature you’ll first need to land at least 5 crown symbols anywhere on the reels. This replaces the reels with a new set holding only crown symbols. Here the aim is to land as many crowns as possible in order to boost the prize multiplier. After each spin you get to select one of the King’s Treasures to decide what happens next, namely:
The Wheel King is the most desirable, since this is the wheel that holds the three progressive jackpot prizes, Royal, Regal, and Jackpot King. You can also activate the Wheel King by collecting a total of 15 crowns through the reel-spinning feature.
While playing a stripped down slot can be fun, Diamond Jackpots offers little other than that. Sure the potential of the Jackpot King feature is always tempting, but let’s face the facts - the chances of triggering this are astronomical, to put it mildly. So what you’re left with is a standard gem-themed slot that lacks such basic features such as a wild symbol, never mind a free spins round. You might squeeze some entertainment out of this one if you’re a jackpot fiend, but even then there are better alternatives out there even if you decide to stick solely to the Jackpot King network.
