FRKN Bananas Symbols and Audio & Video Design
The visual style of FRKN Bananas should prove familiar to fans of Hacksaw Gaming slots. We find ourselves in another cartoon back alley - this time in a city dubbed “Peelington” - much like other Hacksaw games such as Le Bandit or RIP City. There’s also an animated character on either side of the screen, namely a half-peeled banana character holding, well, a banana, and what appears to be a grotesque rotting peel creature. The reels are a crate labeled with a “Wild Bananas” warning, and hold bold symbols that also come to animated life whenever making part of a payline.
Since we’ve mentioned the symbols, we might as well tell what they’re all about. There are 10 paying symbols, with the diamond, boxing glove, popcorn bucket, hot dog, and melon slice on the high-paying side and the A, K, Q, J, and 10 card royals making the low pays. Then there are various banana symbols, which all act as wilds. They can substitute for all paying symbols and either expand or stick to the reels. During regular spins banana wilds can land pointing either upwards or downwards. If this symbol makes part of a winning combination it will turn all other symbols in the direction it’s point at into wilds. In addition, the wild holds a random multiplier that can range from 1x all the way up to 100x. In case multiple banana wilds are part of the same payline then their multipliers will be added up and the total applied to the payout.

Land 3 FS scatters for the Bananza round of 10 free spins. These spins not only promise more spreading banana wilds on the reels, but these should land on more favourable positions. Banana Blitz!
If 4 FS scatters hit on the same round you’ll get 10 Banana Blitz free spins. This is the round with the sticky banana wilds that will remain on the reels for the duration. FRKN Bananas Final Thoughts
Cartoony Hacksaw Gaming slots are hardly new territory, but FRKN Bananas does add a couple of bright spots to what’s a perhaps repetitive style of game. The spreading wilds can lead to some decent payouts, even if they don’t appear too often during regular spins, while the two free spins rounds further add to the excitement. This is especially the case during the Banana Blitz round, although this being a volatile slot the chances of triggering this one are pretty low!
So, all in all FRKN Bananas is a solid slot with a 10,000x max win and a decent 96.31% RTP. So long you don’t expect anything too revolutionary if you’re familiar with the Hacksaw style of slot you should have quite the good time with it, especially if you accept the aforementioned high volatility.
