As we’ve admitted earlier, we’re not too familiar with the Gold Rush show, so we can’t judge how accurate it is to the source material. That said the visuals do look authentic, with the background featuring a mining operation taking place in the Alaskan wilderness. This visual brings quite the contrast, as the mountains and forests dwarf the mining machines. A twanging guitar tune plays as you spin the reels, one we’ll assume is actually from the show.
The reels are simply designed in grey, and feature a set of symbols that are, obviously, related to the show and gold mining. We’re assuming that the four high-paying symbols are characters from one of the show’s seasons, while the low pays add a scale and a flask to the familiar A, K, and Q card royals. The wild features the text “WILD GOLD” and can substitute for all of these paying symbols. Last but not least are the special symbols. As such, your enjoyment of this game will very much depend on whether you’re tired of the Cash Collect feature or not. Then there’s the fact that this is a low volatility, low RTP game with a low max win of just 500x to contend with.
