The titular pots in Honeylock's Pots are key to this game’s main feature. That said there’s also a chance to get expanding wilds, so let’s see what this game holds as far as bonuses are concerned. 

Honeylock Expand

Should a wild hit it may randomly expand to fill the entire reel. If one wild expands then any other wilds on the reels will likewise expand. 

Bonus Game 

Quickspin does not give its bonus round any special name other than “Bonus Game,” so we’re going to stick with this title. Randomly triggered whenever you land at least 1 honey symbol, the Bonus Game is a hold and spin-style affair where you get 3 respins with which to land as many coins on the reels as possible. Coins hold a cash value worth anything from 0.2x to 25x the stake. Landing a coin resets the number of respins back to 3, so the round ends once you run out of respins. 

We’ve mentioned how there are 3 different honey symbols. The honey symbols landed on the triggering spin can lead to the corresponding bear symbol landing during the Bonus Games. These are as follows: 

• Prizepot: Landing a Prizepot symbol moves the meter by 1 step. The meter has 8 steps, and moving by 2 steps unlocks a jackpot prize. These are Mini (worth 10x the bet), Minor (30x bet), Major (150x bet), and Mega (2,500x bet).
• Grabber: Adds the values of all coins in view to itself. 
• Expander: Unlocks 2-5 positions from the locked reel area. This can add a maximum of 15 additional reel positions. Unlocking 8 and 15 reel positions adds 1 respin to the total for a maximum of 5 respins. 

Once you run out of respins the value of all coins on the reels is added up and the total awarded as a payout. That said if the total reaches 2,500x the stake then the round ends immediately, with the payout awarded and any remaining respins rescinded. 

Honeylock's Pots is a cute if unexceptional effort from Quickspin. It plays decently enough, with the cute visuals brightening the action considerably, but the medium volatility means an overall lack of excitement. This might be fine if you want a more relaxing reel-spinning experience, but thrill seekers need to look elsewhere, especially since wins can reach up to 2,500x the stake. The bonus round is similarly fine enough, if nothing too new in a world overcrowded with hold and spin-style features. Honeylock's Pots is neither too hot nor too cold so it’s… just right? Fancy that.
