Inferno Star Symbols and Design
The Inferno Star game has a fairly straightforward design, with familiar fruity symbols like cherries, apples and watermelons on the reels. Behind the reels a giant sun looms, and on the reels you’ll also find regular sun symbols as well as the Raging Sun scatter (more on that later).
The soundtrack fits with the space theme that Play’n GO have gone for, with a light, dreamy backing track and electronic sound effects when you land a win. All in all the game’s design is fine if you’re just looking for a simple fruit machine game, but it does feel like a little more effort could have been made.

Raging Suns Respins
Land a Raging Sun scatter on the third reel to activate the respins round. Any sun symbols that land will be transformed into Raging Suns, and remain in place while the remaining reels spin again. If additional sun symbols appear on the reels, they will also turn into Raging Suns and be held on the reels. The round ends when each reel has a Raging Sun symbol, or when no new sun symbols appear.
Gamble feature
Every time you land a win, you’ll be given the option to either gamble or collect your winnings. If you choose ‘collect’ your winnings will be added to your balance and the game will continue as normal. If you select ‘gamble’, you will be given two different options. You can either decide to bet on whether a face-down card will be red or black (for a chance to double your winnings), or which of the four suits the card will belong to (for an opportunity to quadruple your winnings). If you guess correctly, you win the bet. But if you guess incorrectly, you lose it all.
Inferno Star Final Thoughts
Inferno Star is a simple, fruit machine-style slot that didn’t blow me away. The Raging Suns Respin round is a nice touch, but it’s nothing we haven’t seen before. The combination of fruit and suns also seems quite random, as if the game developers just threw together two popular themes without much thought for how to make the game engaging.
The RTP of 96.38% is decent, but the maximum win of 2,500x your bet is fairly low compared to most other slots. In summary, you might enjoy this game if you’re a die-hard fruit machine fan, but if not it’s probably time to look elsewhere.
