Joker Fiesta Slot Review

Just as Joker Fiesta is a simple slot to play, it’s simple to look at. Red Rake does attempt to recreate the casino experience here, with the reels being in a cabinet complete with garish multi-colour background, but the final result is, frankly, a bit crude. Maybe this is exactly the result Red Rake wanted to go for, but it’s still a poor effort compared to so many modern video slots out there. 

The symbols on the reels should prove familiar to anyone who has even taken a look at a fruit machine. You’ll find the plums, lemons, melons, oranges, grapes, and cherries, as well as a high-paying joker. The last symbol on the reels is the bell, which is the scatter. That does not mean this can award you with free spins - this is a classic scatter, meaning it simply brings wins from any position on the reels, so long you land at least 3. 

Let’s see the values of these paying symbols:

• Joker: 5 - 1,000x / 4 - 200x / 3 - 20x
• Bell: 5 - 250x / 4 - 50x / 3 - 10x
• Melon, Grapes: 5 - 200x / 4 - 40x / 3 - 10x
• Plum, Lemon: 5 - 40x / 4 - 10x / 3 - 4x
• Orange, Cherries: 5 - 40x / 4 - 8x / 3 - 4x

Here’s where we’ll disappoint some of you - Joker Fiesta has no bonus features. Zilch, nada. The closest thing it has to a feature is the bell scatters, which can award you with a payout from any position on the reels. That said you’ll still need to land at least 3 bells to win a prize. Other than that this is truly a slot that’s as old school as it gets, 5-reel setup aside. 

There’s no way to put this nicely - Joker Fiesta is a mediocre effort from Red Rake, one that adds very little to the fruit machine genre, never mind slots as a whole. The graphics are ugly, the RTP low, and the win potential just 1,000x your stake. There are so many superior slots out there even if you stick solely to virtual one armed bandits, so we can’t think of any reason why anyone would want to play this outside of the sheer novelty value of a 5-reel fruit machine. And even then, we believe this slot affected our PC’s speed during testing? This gets the opposite of a recommendation from us.
