Legendary Diamonds Slot Review
Legendary Diamonds** is a classic Vegas-style diamond slot from Booming Games, released on 9 June 2022, playing on a standard 5×3 grid with 20 fixed paylines. The Legendary Diamonds slot carries an RTP of 95.60%, which is below the UK industry benchmark of approximately 96%, with a maximum win of 2,000x stake and high volatility. The feature design is straightforward: the Star Wild substitutes for all standard symbols and pays on its own, Diamond Payouts deliver scatter prizes up to 2,000x stake on a tiered prize ladder, and the Wheel of Fortune bonus, triggered by three Red Diamond Scatter symbols on reels 2, 3, and 4, spins to determine the number of free spins (up to 30) and the multiplier applied (up to 3x). The free spins round is retriggerable. With a hit frequency of 56.02%, the base game is unusually active for a high-volatility slot, which makes Legendary Diamonds a reasonable choice for players who prefer a retro aesthetic with frequent smaller returns between the larger feature events. The below-benchmark RTP is worth noting before playing. Gambling Zone rates it 6.0/10. Find the best regulated UK sites to play Legendary Diamonds below. In this Legendary Diamonds slot review, we examine Booming Games' classic diamond game, the Wheel of Fortune bonus, and whether the high hit frequency helps offset the below-benchmark RTP. Legendary Diamonds
Legendary Diamonds RTP and Wagering
Legendary Diamonds plays on a standard 5×3 grid with 20 fixed paylines, a familiar format that places the full focus on its three features: the Star Wild, Diamond Payouts, and the Wheel of Fortune bonus. Stakes go up to £200 per spin.
The RTP of 95.60% is below the UK industry benchmark of approximately 96%. For a high-volatility game, the gap is relevant: the higher house edge per spin means the long-term mathematical return to the player is less favourable than comparable high-volatility titles with benchmark or above-benchmark RTP. Confirm the active RTP setting in the slot game's information panel at your chosen casino before playing, as operators may offer different configurations.
The hit frequency of 56.02% is notably high: more than half of all spins produce some return. This is unusual for a high-volatility classification, and it reflects a game that spreads its return across frequent small wins in the base game rather than concentrating it entirely in the bonus round. The maximum win of 2,000x stake is achievable through the Diamond Payouts scatter prize ladder (9 Diamond symbols landing simultaneously). The free spins multiplier applies to payline wins during the bonus round and does not apply to Diamond Payout prizes.

Legendary Diamonds Symbols and Audio and Video Design
Legendary Diamonds is a classic casino game in visual terms: a clean white-and-gold colour palette, diamond imagery throughout, and the measured aesthetic of a Vegas high-limit room rather than a cartoon adventure. The game does not use elaborate animations or narrative framing; its visual language communicates what it is immediately. The Star Wild is the clearest visual element on the grid, and the prize ladder display for Diamond Payouts is immediately readable.
The paytable below shows multiplier values per winning combination (expressed as multiples of stake):

Legendary Diamonds Mobile Features
Legendary Diamonds is built on HTML5 and plays in mobile and tablet browsers without a download. The standard 5×3 layout is among the most mobile-compatible formats available. The Wheel of Fortune bonus animation, where the wheel spins to determine your free spins count and multiplier, renders clearly at mobile screen sizes, and the prize ladder display for Diamond Payouts reads without needing to expand.
Legendary Diamonds Bonus Features
Legendary Diamonds has three features: the Star Wild, Diamond Payouts, and the Wheel of Fortune bonus.
Star Wild
The Star Wild substitutes for all standard paying symbols on any active payline and pays as a symbol in its own right (100x for 5 of a kind, 25x for 4, 6x for 3). It does not substitute for the Diamond Payout symbol or the Red Diamond Scatter. The Star Wild can appear on any reel and contributes to winning combinations in both the base game and during free spins.
Diamond Payouts
Diamond Payouts is a scatter prize feature that awards an instant cash prize when 3 or more Diamond symbols land anywhere on the reels simultaneously. The prizes are independent of payline wins and scale with the number of Diamond symbols:

Wheel of Fortune Bonus: Free Spins
The Wheel of Fortune bonus triggers when three Red Diamond Scatter symbols land on reels 2, 3, and 4. Once triggered, a multi-section wheel spins and lands on a combination that determines both the number of free spins awarded (up to 30) and the win multiplier that applies throughout the feature (up to 3x). All wins during the free spins round are subject to the multiplier determined by the wheel.
The free spins round is retriggerable: if three or more Scatter symbols land again during the feature, the Wheel of Fortune spins a second time and the additional spins and multiplier are added to the remaining count.
Legendary Diamonds Final Thoughts
Legendary Diamonds is the slot equivalent of a well-made classic cocktail: familiar ingredients, clean execution, no surprises. The Wheel of Fortune bonus is straightforward to understand and genuinely determines two meaningful variables (spin count and multiplier) in a single clear result rather than spreading them across multiple menus. The hit frequency of 56.02% means the base game has actual activity between bonus triggers, which makes sessions feel less like pure waiting.
What I want players to be clear on before they play is the RTP. At 95.60%, Legendary Diamonds sits below the UK benchmark, and that matters more for high-volatility games because the base game frequency alone does not compensate for the mathematical shortfall. The 2,000x maximum win is achievable through the Diamond Payout scatter prize (9 Diamond symbols). The retriggerable free spins with a 3x multiplier amplify payline wins during the bonus round. But those wins need to work harder to overcome the below-benchmark starting point.
If the classic diamond aesthetic and familiar feature structure appeal to you, Legendary Diamonds delivers that well. Just make sure you are playing at a casino where the RTP is set at the highest available configuration.
