Now we head back to the jungle with the sequel. Multifly 2 brings more reptiles, if within the same 5-reel, 3-reel format complete with cascade mechanic. What makes it stand out, then? Multifly 2 RTP and Wagering
Like the original Multifly slot, Multifly 2 features a compact 5-reel, 3-row setup. This allows for a total of 243 paylines formed by landing at least 3 matching symbols on adjacent reels. Paylines always start from the leftmost reel, moving from left to one. In addition, the symbols making a payline are removed from the reels, leading to a cascade with new symbols dropping in the empty spaces. This can lead to new winning combinations, as well as a wild dropping in one of the winning symbol positions.
The standard RTP of Multifly 2 is 96%, but operators can set this to 94% or even 92%. The RTP does not affect the volatility, which is fiercely high, or the win cap of up to 10,311x your stake. Multifly 2 is a slot that deals with the smaller inhabitants of the jungle, taking us right to the ground level that all manner of critters call home. There’s a frog chilling on the left-hand side of the slot game, while on top you’ll notice the chameleon peeping at the reels. Little bugs crawl up and down the reels’ frame, bringing the game to animated life.
The reels hold 8 paying symbols. The high pays consist of reptiles, namely the snake, crocodile, lizard, and tortoise, while plants in the shape of the spade, diamond, heart, and club cart suits make the low pays. The yellow flowering plant is the wild, which can substitute for all symbols except the scatter. This is the golden frog that can award you with free spins if you land 3 or more anywhere on the reels. Only one scatter can land per reel.

The multiplier is applied to wins with a symbol in that reel. Once the spin is over the multiplier resets back to 1x.

Landing 3, 4 or 5 scatters anywhere on the reels awards you with 5, 10, or 15 free spins respectively. The free spins add one feature to the game, and that is the fact the reel multipliers do not reset between spins. In addition, wild multipliers can reach up to 5x. The free spins can be retriggered by, once again, landing 3 or more scatters.
Multifly 2 Final Thoughts
Multifly 2 looks beautiful and benefits from a truly unique theme, but we can’t help but find it a little bit lacking. This is due to the fact that, ultimately, nothing much has changed from the original Multifly slot. The fundamentals here are solid, mind - a cascade mechanic paired with multiplier wilds - but what used to be revolutionary back in 2020 now just feels a bit rote. Is Multifly 2 a bad slot? Absolutely not, but we were still expecting something more from the guys at Yggdrasil.
