We’ve already mentioned how Power of Ten represents something of a departure in terms of visual style from Hacksaw Gaming, but it’s worth repeating. After all, Hacksaw is best known for wild subject matter, such as cartoon characters, punks, or dark takes on mythology, and not what can be best described as Wild West Minimalism. The casino saloon the game is set in is dark and quiet, while the reels are black and feature gold-lined takes on familiar symbols. 

The paying symbols consist of the high-paying dice, crown, cards, poker chips, and dice, plus the low-paying diamond, club, spade, and heart. The blue “W” is the wild, which can substitute for all paying symbols. The FS, meanwhile, is the free spins scatter. The last symbol on the reels is the Power Wheel. When landed this spins to potentially award you a cash prize!

A developer focusing on something completely different can lead to interesting results, and this is definitely the case with Power of Ten. This slot might not be to everyone’s tastes, especially if one happens to be a fan of Hacksaw’s more colourful and whacky titles, but those willing to accept Power of Ten’s minimalist gameplay will be rewarded with a fearsomely volatile and potentially high paying slot. That said the volatility does come with a cost, since it means more than a few spins are required before you even get a whiff of a Power Wheel, never mind one that awards you the game’s ultimate prize.
