Respin Joker 1000x keeps the simple visual design of previous games in the series. The background is in orange, and filled with what look like lens flares that slowly move around the screen. Thankfully these don’t distract from the reels, which are in stark black. The symbols on these are big and colourful, and should prove familiar to anyone who has played a fruit machine–style slot, never mind a Respin Joker game. 

If you’ve never played a fruit machine before the symbols are as follows - bells, melons, grapes, plums, oranges, lemons, and cherries. The game does have a concession to modern slots through the addition of a wild, which can substitute for all the paying symbols. Actually there are two wilds - regular and gold. Both substitute for the other symbols and trigger the respin feature but the gold wild adds a 2x multiplier to wins it makes part of.

Golden Wilds

Respin Joker 1000x has two types of wild, regular and gold. Golden wilds have a 2x multiplier that is applied to wins they make part of. If there are 2 wilds in a win then the multiplier is doubled to 2x, and in the case of 3 wilds then the multiplier grows to 8x.

Respin

When a wild is part of a winning combination it locks in place on the reels for a respin. Any wins are evaluated before the respin, before they are reevaluated once the respin is over. If the respin leads to a new wild then the process repeats with both wilds locked on the reels. 

Gamble

After any win you can take a chance of doubling the payout through the gamble feature. Here you get to guess the colour of a card, namely black or red. The deck also has a joker, which substitutes for any colour. Guess right and your payout is doubled, but guess wrong and you lose it. There’s the option of gambling half the payout, with the rest going to your balance. You can successfully gamble up to 10 times during a single round. 

Do you want to play what amounts to a basic one-armed bandit with an additional wild respin feature? Because that’s what basically Respin Joker 1000x is. This is just another entry in the Respin Joker series after, one whose only headline feature is a win cap of 1,000x the stake. The RTP is variable, the gameplay generally boring, and the visuals nothing to write about. There are so many other different slots out there, even within the fruit machine genre, that it’s hard to recommend this one over basically anything else.
