The reels hold 9 unique paying symbols - the hermit crab, jellyfish, shrimp, and fish high pays and the low-paying seashells in red, orange, green, pink, and blue. The balloon wild can substitute for all symbols except the scatters and helper symbols. Chomp Multipliers
Each reel position that holds a winning symbol gets a 2x multiplier. If this multiplier position holds a second winning symbol then the multiplier is doubled. Once the spin is over all multipliers included are added up and the total applied to the final win. Multipliers reset back to 1x at the start of a new spin, and can reach a maximum of 2,048x.
Helper Symbols
As you spin the reels of Shark Feast you will notice the helper symbols. As the name suggests these help you land more wins. There are 3 different helper symbols as follows:
- Bubbles - Transform into a regular symbol and reveal a Chomp Multiplier of up to 8x. If a bubble lands on a position that already holds a multiplier then its value is multiplied by the existing one. If more than 1 bubble lands on the same spin then they reveal the same symbol.
- Expansion bubbles - Transform into a regular symbol and add a Chomp Multiplier of up to 8x to all matching symbols.
- Crunch - Clears a 3x3 area around its position, removing all symbols except any wilds or scatters. Cleared positions receive a new 2x Chomp Multiplier and any existing multipliers are doubled.
Free Spins
Landing 3 or more scatters unlocks one of 3 free spins modes. During all of these any Chomp Multipliers remain sticky for the duration. Meanwhile scatters are replaced by vouchers that add +1 free spin to the total when landed.
The free spins start with a choice of up to 3 tickets. These reveal upgrades that are applied to the round as follows:
- Land expansion bubbles instead of regular bubbles that spread every time they land.
