The Six Appeal slot keeps things simple with a wild symbol and a free spins bonus round, though there is more than meets the eye to the latter bonus feature as explored below.

Wild Symbol

The wild symbol acts as a replacement for all other non-special symbols and, like most older slots, is represented by the Six Appeal logo. It is also the most valuable symbol in the game and can award payments of up to 40,000 coins.

Free Spins

This is the only true bonus feature of the Six Appeal game and is awarded not by scatters as in most modern games, but through the appearance of the bonus symbol which is a blue dice. To trigger free spins, this bonus symbol will need to land on reels 1, 3, and 5 within a single spin. 

The Six Appeal game has quite a novel way of awarding the number of spins as the values displayed on the dice are multiplied together to reveal the amount, (e.g. reel one dice shows 2 dots, reel three dice shows 3, and reel five shows four dots meaning: 2x3x4 =24 total spins). This means that the minimum number of free spins is technically 1 (if you are unlucky enough to land 1’s on all die), while the highest number is a whopping 216 (6x6x6), though it is most likely players will spin with around 10-30 spins; still a very respectable amount!

Look for any red dice on reels 2 and 4 of the triggering spin; if any are discovered, they will combine to provide a multiplier applied to all of the payouts during your free spins. The blue dice do not exit the reels during free spins, meaning the bonus can be retriggered. If this happens, when a player has an active multiplier, and no red dice are present for the re-trigger, then players will retain the current multiplier.

Just like in Las Vegas, there is more than meets the eye in the Six Appeal slot, and these are not nasty surprises! If I am honest, when looking at the game on face value, Sex Appeal is a game that feels out of date in its design, outmatched in its statistics, and culturally outdated. However, if you can look past the PlayStation 2-level graphics, and ignore the tasteless and (if I am honest) lame play on words and logo, what starts to be revealed is really exciting.

In my reviews, I normally discourage developers from putting all their eggs in one basket with a single bonus round, but the Six Appeal slots free spins bonus has the potential to be that much of a showstopper that it would rival a live performance from Cher on the Vegas Strip!

I really like how the faces of the dice decide the total number of free spins, as I have not seen this concept in many other games. The addition of red dice brings in some tantalising multiplier potential, but the best thing of all is the fact that the blue dice do not exit the reels for free spins. This means players have the potential to retrigger the bonus multiple times, and there is even the extra treat of retaining prior multipliers if none are awarded by the retrigger. 

Therefore, players could walk away with far more than they bargained for, and whereas in other games the top payouts seem so far-fetched that they are dismissed by players, in Six Appeal, the 40,000 coin top prize seems far more feasible (just remember to gamble responsibly). 

All in all, I think this slot is begging for an updated re-release, maybe with a more up-to-date theme, definitely better graphics, and a couple of base game modifiers would not go amiss either. As it stands, however, the Six Appeal slot gets a fitting score of 6/10.
