While the Slingo form is not exactly one for bonus features, Slingo XXXtreme Express does have a couple up its sleeve. Let’s see what they’re about. 

Bonus Spins 

We’ve already pointed out the glowing bonus spin symbols, but we might as well repeat the point. Landing one of these on the reels adds an extra spin to the total. Note that bonus spins are only available during the regular round. As such, once you start paying for extra spins you won’t get any more on the reels.

Scatter

Both regular and super wilds act as scatters as well as wilds. What does this mean, you might ask? Land 3 or more of these on the reels on the same spin and you’ll get a payout, slot style. This way you can get an additional payout of 1x the stake if you land 3 scatters, 2x the stake with 4 scatters, and 10x the stake with the full 5 scatters. These payouts are awarded in addition to any slingo wins you might get at the end of the round.

Slingo XXXtreme Express is not a reinvention of the Slingo circle - it is, in fact, an evolution that speeds up the gameplay to an almost blitz-like pace. Rounds take minutes to complete, with the thumping music adding further urgency to the proceedings. That said it’s still a Slingo game through and through, with wilds, bonus spins, and blockers all making an appearance on the reels. In other words Slingo XXXtreme Express is the classic experience, only speedier and perhaps better looking, and that makes for a perfectly fine game in our book.
