Another State For The Betting Giant
Leading British bookmaker Bet365 has continued its expansion into the United States by launching in Arizona.
The Grand Canyon state becomes the ninth that the operator has debuted in as it continues to establish itself as a must-have sportsbook in the country.
Super Bowl Launch
Players in Arizona will now receive full access to Bet365’s renowned sports betting product. They will be able to place pre-event and in-match wagers on a selection of sports and leagues, including the NBA, NHL, MBA, and NFL. They will also be able to wager on leading international sports and markets like the English Premier League.
The timing of the launch coincides with this weekend’s Super Bowl LVIII event. The match will feature the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. It is the biggest sporting event in the US calendar and will ensure the operator gets a significant boost during its opening weekend.
Sportsbooks throughout the US will be scrambling to get the attention of punters, with many of them offering bonuses during the event. Bet365 are providing players with the chance to secure a bonus worth $150 on the match. Other operators are taking different approaches, with prop bets on Taylor Swift gaining a lot of attention. The popular singer’s partner, Travis Kelce, is set to start for the Kansas City Chiefs in the game.
Continued Expansion
Like every other major operator in the industry, Bet365 has targeted the US in recent years. It is already licensed in Kentucky, Louisiana, Virginia, Ohio, New Jersey, Iowa, Colorado, and Indiana. It will become active in Arizona through a partnership with the AK-Chin Indian Community.
A spokesperson for Bet365 shared the company’s excitement at entering the state, saying that the Arizona SportsScene is never ordinary and that they are looking forward to introducing their unique sports betting product to its residents.
Bet365 has entered the state at the ideal time, with Arizona setting a new monthly handle record in November. This record could be broken again this month with the Super Bowl taking place.
