International casino operator BetMGM is set to significantly improve its sign-up process thanks to a new deal with Prove Identity.
This leading solution will speed up the registration process while also adding an extra level of security to protect both the player and the operator.
Removing Complications
The deal between the two parties will see BetMGMutilise Prove Identity’s leading Prove Pre-Fill system. This is used by more than 1,000 international businesses and will help BetMGM accelerate the sign-up process for new customers.
Projections suggest that sign-up rates could improve by nearly as much as 80%. Research indicates that a slow or complicated sign-up process is one of the main reasons why people stop registering for services, or give-up half-way through.
This can be particularly relevant in the online gaming industry, where additional security checks and industry regulations can slow down the process significantly.
Prove Pre-Fill will not only speed the process up for customers. The technology used has several useful security features and will be a huge help to the operator as it attempts to clamp down on bonus abuse.
The technology will first be utilised by the operator in the US, which is its primary market. It will still need to undergo regulatory approval before it is activated.

Speaking about the deal, Adam Greenblatt, BetMGM CEO, said that the company is committed to providing players with the most seamless and secure sports betting experience possible. He emphasised that the deal with Prove Identity is an example of their commitment to this cause.
He finished by saying that it will provide a faster experience, and that it will add an extra layer of security, improving the overall user experience in the process.
This deal comes after what has been an incredibly fruitful year for the US operator. The company reported $1.96bn in revenue for 2023. It also launched in the UK and has been busy cementing its status as one of the best new online casinos and sportsbooks on the market.
