Brighton and Nottingham Forest are sixth and seventh in the standings following four rounds of matches and the pair will be desperate to strengthen their positions when they meet this weekend.

It's been a decent start to the campaign for both sides, with the two unbeaten despite having some tricky fixtures to negotiate.

The Seagulls have beaten Manchester United and held Arsenal to a 1-1 draw in their opening sequence, while Forest stunned Liverpool last week with a first victory at Anfield since 1969.

That came following draws against Wolves and Newcastle, so both sides should be in decent spirits for this encounter on the south coast.

Find out where the value lies in Sunday’s Premier League showdown between Brighton and Nottingham Forest at the Amex Stadium.

Tricky Trees Can Stand Tall

Brighton won both meetings with Nottingham Forest last season and they are warm favourites to make it three in a row on Sunday.

However, Forest look a much more solid outfit this season and they can come away from the Amex this weekend by at least avoiding defeat on the south coast.

The Tricky Trees will be full of beans following last week's stunning 1-0 win at Anfield, which came courtesy of a smash and grab winner from Callum Hudson-Odoi on the back of a resolute rearguard action on Merseyside.

Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo will almost certainly look to utilise the same tactics which worked so well last weekend, and his side can at least avoid defeat on their seaside jaunt.

Both sides are unbeaten so far this season and there is a chance they could cancel each other out, so the value play looks to be backing a Forest win while keeping the draw on side at a juicy price.

Goals Could Be Hard To Come By

Brighton have kept three clean sheets in five fixtures this season, while Nottingham Forest haven't scored more than once in any of their five outings in this campaign, so backing under 2.5 goals in this encounter could also pay off.

Five of the last eight meetings have seen one or both sides fail to score and Forest's clean sheet at Anfield last suggests they could hold firm at Brighton this week, too.

The Tricky Trees have failed to score in each of their last four visits to the Amex, and although they pose more of a threat this time around, the chances of the floodgates opening look slim.

Lightning Could Strike Twice For Forest

Callum Hudson-Odoi terrorised tiring Liverpool legs at Anfield and his match-winning cameo role could be repeated this week.

Forest boss Nuno shut up shop for most of the match on Merseyside last Saturday then introduced pace in the second half to devastating effect.

Hudson-Odoi grabbed the headlines with the winning goal, but Anthony Elanga on the other flank was just as troublesome, and Nuno could follow the same template this week.

Brighton may also find the pair too hot to handle and Hudson-Odoi is fancied to make his mark once more by getting on the scoresheet.
