Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, the only two clubs in Groups A-D with 100 per-cent starts to the Champions League, will be hoping to make it three wins out of three on Tuesday night.
Real Madrid should be confident of another three-point haul at Braga, but Bayern might find it tougher to complete a hat-trick at Galatasaray.
Manchester United, meanwhile, are one of three clubs in action on Tuesday yet to get a point after the first two rounds and they will be desperate to get off the mark in style at home to FC Copenhagen.
Goals should be guaranteed at Old Trafford if not necessarily that coveted first win and Arsenal, the other Premier League side in action, might also find it hard going at Sevilla.
Napoli are also taken to win at another winless side, Union Berlin, one of eight ties to look forward to. Here's our rundown of the action.
- Over 3.5 Goals - Man United v Copenhagen
- Galatasaray win or draw double chance against Bayern
- Sevilla win or draw double chance against Arsenal
- Napoli to beat Union Berlin
Manchester United vs FC Copenhagen
There will be sombre mood at Old Trafford before kick-off as Manchester United remembers one of its true greats, Sir Bobby Charlton, who died at the weekend, aged 86.
World Cup winner Sir Bobby was part of the United side who won the Champions League (then European Cup) back in 1968, becoming the first English side to do so.
Few are expecting the 2023-24 vintage to follow in the footsteps of Charlton, Best and Law et al, and indeed, they may struggle to even get out of Group A.
United have played two and lost two so far, both thrillers as they were pipped 4-3 at Bayern Munich and then 3-2 at home to Galatasaray having led 2-1.
They can leave no stone unturned in pursuit of points and will be demanding all six off their Copenhagen double-header.
To that end, expect entertainment and expect goals with Copenhagen more than capable of playing their part.
They are top of the Danish Super League with the leakiest defence in the top six so clearly aren't much more reliable at the back than United, who are still missing a number of players.
Galatasaray vs Bayern Munich
Since Bayern Munich are unbeaten in their last 36 group-stage matches in the Champions League, it might seem an act of folly to take them on.
And it's largely because of that record that they are such strong favourites at Group A rivals Galatasaray, who look a seriously strong opponent this year.
Bayern have six points on the board but have been made to work hard for them by both Manchester United and Copenhagen.
And they are having to work hard for their wins in the Bundesliga as well. Harry Kane is in sizzling form but they are missing a number of key players and the German champions are not having it all their own way back at home.
Galatasaray come into the match on the back of a 2-1 win over Besiktas, a derby triumph that always lifts spirits at Rams Park.
There looks to be a really good blend of local and overseas talent at Gala, who have drawn with Copenhagen and beaten United to sit second in the section.
They are unbeaten since April and while this is a step up in class from a typical Super Lig outing, they have the pedigree to go with a passionate home support base to make this a really uncomfortable evening for Thomas Tuchel's men.
GALATASARAY WIN DRAW OR DOUBLE CHANCE
Sevilla vs Arsenal
Sevilla have drawn both their Group B encounters as they prepare to welcome Premier League big guns Arsenal to southern Spain, and the draw looks a big runner again.
Sevilla come into the game on the back of a gutsy – if slightly fortunate – 1-1 draw with Real Madrid in La Liga, a third successive stalemate. In fact they have drawn five of their last seven and their only loss in eight was courtesy of a Sergio Ramos own goal at Barcelona.
The reigning Europa League champions are struggling to inch towards the top six in Spain but they are clearly becoming tough to beat.
And this is no routine road trip to Arsenal, who are unbeaten in England but looked all at sea for long periods of Saturday's 2-2 draw at Chelsea. They have also lost their lone road trip in this competition, going down 2-1 at Lens.
SEVILLA WIN DRAW OR DOUBLE CHANCE
Union Berlin vs Napoli
Group C always looked like it would be a Real Madrid-Napoli show and while Carlo Ancelotti's Spanish superpowers are keeping to their side of the bargain, Napoli are locked in more of a scrap.
A 2-1 win at Portuguese side Braga got them off to a flyer before they slipped up at home to Real, going down 3-2.
Napoli's fate, however, will be determined by the return against Braga and the double-header with Union Berlin which starts with a trip to the German capital on Tuesday.
The big team news, of course, is that Napoli's star striker Victor Osimhen is out and the Italians will be weaker accordingly, though they still looked lively in the Nigerian's absence carving out a 3-1 win at Verona on Saturday.
It showed that the likes of Matteo Politano and Khvica Kvaratskhelia are more than capable of stepping up and they ought to be licking their lips at the thought of getting stuck into Union.
Many Union fans wondered whether the Berliners would be able to cope with the demands of Bundesliga and Champions League action and the evidence so far is that those concerns were legitimate.
Union have lost both games to date, eight in a row in all competitions, and Saturday's 3-0 home loss to Stuttgart was not pretty.
They are also mildly inconvenienced by having to play their 'home' games in this competition at the Olympiastadion, in the right city but not their home venue.
