There are eight more games to look forward to in the Champions League on Wednesday, with action across Groups E, F, G and H.
Newcastle and Manchester City carry the Premier League interest, while Celtic represent Scottish hopes as they host Atletico Madrid.
Barcelona are also in action against Shakhtar Donetsk, as are Paris Saint-Germain, who host seven-time winners AC Milan, with Feyenoord against Lazio the other match in Celtic's pool.
The Bhoys' battle with Atletico Madrid opens our predictions for Wednesday's games. We have also looked at Newcastle's clash with Borussia Dortmund and an intriguing contest in Belgium where two-time winners Porto take on newbies Antwerp.
- Atletico to beat Celtic and both teams to score
- Julian Alvarez to score any time against Young Boys
- Newcastle to win to nil
- Porto to beat Antwerp
Celtic vs Atletico Madrid
For all Celtic's domestic success, they have not won a Champions League group game since 2017.
To date, they have lost 2-0 to Feyenoord and 2-1 against Lazio and may again struggle against Wednesday's opponents Atletico Madrid.
Los Colchoneros have won their last six in all competitions and are almost going under the radar, currently sitting fourth in La Liga but only three points off top spot and with a game in hand.
Atleti opened their Champions League campaign with a 1-1 draw against Lazio, appearing all set for victory before home goalkeeper Ivan Provedel popped up with a dramatic stoppage-time equaliser.
They then beat Feyenoord 3-2 and that has been a typical result. While they are unbeaten in seven in all competitions, winning their last six, they have conceded an average of a goal per game in that run. That ratio could have been worse were it not for Celta Vigo having a man sent off early on in Saturday's 3-0 win at Balaidos.
The fierce Parkhead crowd will be right behind the home side and that could be worth a goal. However, Diego Simeone's side look a level above their Group E rivals and should take all three points.
ATLETICO TO WIN AND BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
Newcastle vs Borussia Dortmund
Group F is intriguingly poised, with Newcastle leading the way on four points after drawing 0-0 at AC Milan and then beating Paris Saint-Germain 4-1.
They host Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday, the side who prop up the pool after losing 2-0 to PSG and then playing out their own 0-0 against Milan.
Despite their European travails, BVB are unbeaten in the Bundesliga and have won their last five matches to move up to fourth.
Newcastle are also finding their feet domestically, shaking off three straight defeats to take 13 of the last 15 available points, most recently beating Crystal Palace 4-0.
Encouragingly for Eddie Howe, the defensive resilience and organisation that underlined last season's fourth-placed finish seems to have returned, conceding just twice in their last five in the league, both of those goals coming in their 2-2 draw at West Ham.
Dortmund have netted in all of their Bundesliga games in 2023-24 but are yet to score in this season's Champions League.
The Magpies' feel-good factor looks to be returning and they could grab another victory, and doing so with a clean sheet is a more than viable option.
Young Boys vs Manchester City
Erling Haaland grabbed the headlines for Manchester City as he ended his relative scoring drought in Saturday's 2-1 win over Brighton but Julian Alvarez has been carrying the team's primary scoring threat in Europe.
At the time of writing, the Argentina international is the joint-leading scorer in the Champions League with three goals, sharing the honour with Manchester United's Rasmus Hojlund.
Holders City have recorded 3-1 wins against Red Star Belgrade and RB Leipzig and will be looking for something similar when they head to the Swiss capital of Bern to face Young Boys.
After losing 3-1 to Leipzig, Raphael Wicky's side drew 2-2 away from home against Red Star in their last European contest and will be eyeing third spot in Group G and passage to the Europa League after Christmas.
They will relish the test of taking on Pep Guardiola's side, whose win against Brighton ended a run of two successive defeats in the Premier League, but they may struggle to handle City's fabulous forward line.
Haaland will be the focus but Alvarez has proved just as dangerous in front of goal this season. His tally of six shots on target is one more than Haaland has managed in the 2023-24 Champions League and he will again be one to watch on Wednesday.
Royal Antwerp vs Porto
Belgian champions Royal Antwerp are still to get off the mark in Group H, opening their debut campaign at this level with a 5-0 defeat to Barcelona before squandering a 2-0 advantage to lose 3-2 against Shakhtar Donetsk.
Their domestic exploits last season show they have talent but their naivety could be exposed again when Porto head to the Bosuilstadion.
Sergio Conceicao's side beat Shakhtar 3-1 in their first game and pushed Barca hard in their second match, succumbing to a Ferran Torres strike in a 1-0 defeat.
The Dragons reached the last 16 of the tournament last season, losing 1-0 on aggregate to beaten finalists Inter Milan and are semi-regular qualifiers for the knockout rounds.
They have built their success on winning games like this and are a streetwise side in good form. Aside from their loss to Barcelona, Porto's only other defeats this term have come against Benfica, losing 2-0 in the Portuguese Super Cup and 1-0 in the Primeira Liga.
By contrast, Antwerp have won just one of their last seven matches in all competitions and Porto will be confident of taking all three points in Belgium, as they did in beating Club Brugge in last season's group stages.
