The curtain closes on Euro 2024 groups C and D on Tuesday and there is plenty to play for in both sections.
All four teams are still mathematically capable of topping Group C as England face Serbia and Denmark take on Slovenia, while Netherlands and France are tied at the top of Group D, but third-placed Austria could still defy the odds to finish top.

France Should Ease To Victory
France are second to Netherlands on goal difference going into the final game of the group stages and they cannot afford to rest on their laurels against already-eliminated Poland.
Fortunately for Didier Deschamps’ side, Poland have looked poor throughout the tournament and spent large swathes of their last game being dominated by Austria.
Les Bleus were unfortunate to only draw against the Dutch after having more of the ball and the better of the opportunities but, with four successive clean sheets behind them, they should stroll to victory in Dortmund.

Austria Can Spring A Surprise
Austria could still technically finish top of Group D and, while that is unlikely considering as it relies on France failing to beat Poland, they should fancy their chances of earning a spot in the last 16.
A draw against the Netherlands would see Austria finish second in the group and Ralf Rangnick’s side showed a lot of resilience in their opener against France. They had more possession than the star-studded Les Bleus and only lost to an unfortunate own goal.
Das Team were even more impressive against Poland as they earned a 3-1 victory, having eight shots on target to the Poles’ three and once again enjoying more of the ball.
The Netherlands needed a late winner to come from behind to beat Poland and could be surprised by the organised Austrians.

Goals in Short Supply
England failed to capitalise on their opener against Denmark, but their defence should carry them through against Group C underdogs Slovenia on Tuesday.
Once again, the Three Lions’ enviable attacking talents could not make a real impact and their draw with the Danes leaves them with just two goals from their last three matches, with another low-scoring affair expected in Cologne.
Under 2.5 goals has landed in each of these three games and Slovenia’s recent outings have been no more enthralling.
Both Euro 2024 games have ended 1-1 and four of their last five outings have featured fewer than three goals, making under 2.5 goals the preferred choice.

Denmark To Claim Three Points
Denmark were impressive in their draw against England and, while they are yet to win a game this tournament, they can secure passage through to the knockout stages with victory over a disappointing Serbia side.
Kasper Hjulmand’s side have won nine and lost just one of their last 14 matches and made it to the semi-finals of Euro 2020.
They face a Serbia side that were beaten by England in their opener and required an injury-time equaliser to avoid defeat against Group C underdogs Slovenia.
