Euro 2024 Betting Tips - Day 7

Euro 2024 Betting Tips - Day 7

There are three more matches at Euro 2024 on Thursday, including England's big game in Group C against Denmark at 5pm as Gareth Southgate's side look to seal their place in the knockout stage.

Also in action are the other two teams in the Three Lions' group, Slovenia and Serbia, who meet at 2pm, while there's a mouth-watering Group B clash between European giants Spain and Italy at 8pm.

  • HARRY KANE TO SCORE ANYTIME - DENMARK VS ENGLAND
  • SLOVENIA VS SERBIA - DRAW
  • SPAIN TO BEAT ITALY

Kane Can Lead By Example

While it was matchwinner Jude Bellingham who deservedly got much of the attention after England’s nervy 1-0 win over Serbia in their Group C opener, Thursday’s clash with Denmark gives striker and captain Harry Kane the perfect chance to join the party.

Kane was slightly subdued against the Serbians, struggling to get into the game as the Three Lions toiled somewhat after going ahead through Bellingham’s fine header early on.

Service to the Bayern Munich frontman dried up, although he did come closest to a second goal when his header was tipped onto the bar brilliantly by Serbia keeper Predrag Rajkovic.

Kane, who is the Three Lions’ record goalscorer with 63 goals in 92 caps, rarely goes a couple of games without getting on the scoresheet and if he gets a sighter against the Danes then he should take it.

Slovenia Should Pick Up Another Point

Slovenia may have been written off by some as no-hopers coming into the tournament, but they will surely not be underrated ahead of their Serbia meeting after securing an impressive - and thoroughly deserved - 1-1 draw with Denmark first up.

Slovenia qualified with exactly the same record as the Danes for the Euros and proved they are more than capable of competing in this group in that entertaining draw.

Another point would be considered a good outcome against a Serbia side who will have designs on a victory after a narrow loss against the Three Lions.

They started slowly on Sunday but came back into the game well and caused England - widely expected to finish top of the section - plenty of problems as it developed.

This is likely to be a keenly-contested clash between two sides who will sense there is a real opportunity for them to finish in the top two and they may well end up cancelling each other out.

SLOVENIA AND SERBIA TO DRAW

Classy Spain Can See Off Holders

Arguably the tie of the group stage takes place in Gelsenkirchen when Euro heavyweights Spain and Italy meet in Group B.

Both started the tournament with a win but their performances were contrasting - Spain blew a decent Croatia side away 3-0, while Italy scraped past Albania 2-1 after falling behind inside the first minute.

Spain will not have it all their own way and the Azzurri - as they proved three years ago when they lifted the trophy - know exactly how to navigate these sorts of games.

However, there is a feeling of freshness and raw quality about La Roja this summer that Italy may not be able to handle.

Teen sensation Lamine Yamal, just 16, turned in a brilliant display on a day when he became the youngest player in men's Euros history, while Manchester City star Rodri gave a midfield masterclass.

Add in a sharp Alvaro Morata up front and a supporting cast which includes Pedri, Fabian Ruiz and Nico Williams, and Spain are a team to be feared in the competition.

SPAIN TO WIN
