WATCH IN THE ZONE - JASON ROBINSON

LASK vs Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp will have more than one eye this week on Sunday's Premier League showdown with West Ham, but the Liverpool chief will still be keen to get off to a winning start in the Europa League.

The Reds are clear favourites to win Group E at a canter but they start with a potentially awkward assignment in Austria against LASK.

Klopp will make one or two changes but courtesy of a decent transfer window, the German now has plenty of options.

And we know that whoever wears a Liverpool shirt in whatever competition, Klopp's positive approach will not change.

They are on a run of four straight wins and really should make it five, and as with those four successes, we can expect goals as well.

Linz have scored at least two goals in six of their last eight home matches so they can play their part in an entertaining affair, which the visitors look sure to win.

LIVERPOOL TO WIN & OVER 2.5 GOALS

Bayer Leverkusen vs BK Hacken

There are not many teams in this season's Europa League who will be more potent in attack than Liverpool but Group H superpowers Bayer Leverkusen are definitely one.

Leverkusen, managed by ex-Reds midfielder Xabi Alonso, have scorched out of the blocks this season, scoring 21 goals in five outings.

In the league they are still unbeaten after Friday's hugely entertaining 2-2 draw at Bayern Munich, and sit proudly atop the table.

New striker Victor Boniface, a summer acquisition from Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise, has settled in a treat with four goals, and there are goals from all over the park.

Hacken are a decent Swedish side who were dumped out of the Champions League by Faroes part-timers KI and looked all at sea at times against Aberdeen in the final qualifying round. That is not encouraging given the onslaught they will face at the Bay Arena.

BAYER LEVERKUSEN TO WIN & OVER 3.5 GOALS

Sturm Graz vs Sporting Lisbon

Atalanta and Sporting Lisbon are the two to beat in Group D and the pair of them can immediately take control of the section.

Atalanta ought to have little trouble at home to Polish champions Rakow Czestochowa and Sporting can claim three points at Sturm Graz.

The Austrians, like LASK, are going well domestically but this is a step up. In last month's Champions League qualifiers they were well beaten at home and away by PSV Eindhoven and they will not find Sporting any more obliging.

Ruben Amorim's men warmed up for the trip to Graz with a polished 3-0 dismantling of Moreirense in the Primeira Liga and are now unbeaten in 13 matches since a luckless 1-0 defeat at Juventus in this competition in April.

SPORTING LISBON TO WIN

Union Saint-Gilloise vs Toulouse

If there is to be a draw on the Europa League coupon it could well be in the Group E tussle between Union Saint-Gilloise and Toulouse in Brussels.

After a major summer exodus of star players, Union are unrecognisable from the side who made the last eight last season and almost won the Belgian league.

The departing big names have been replaced but there is unsurprisingly little consistency in their form, which is in stark contrast to Toulouse's.

The French Cup winners finished last term on a five-match unbeaten run and have already drawn with PSG and Marseille this season. They have drawn seven of their last ten games so the clues are there.

DRAW

Slovan Bratislava vs KI Klaksvik

Tiny Faroe Island outfit KI Klaksvik are having an absolute ball in Europe this year and do not plan for the fun to end yet.

KI have made it into the Europa Conference League and open up their Group A campaign at decent Slovakian outfit Slovan Bratislava. On the face of it, a routine home win. It may pay, however, to think again.

The Faroese side have turned heads and won plaudits this season for toppling Fenerbahce and Hacken in Champions League qualifying and then only being touched off agonisingly first by Molde (Champions League third qualifying round) and Sheriff (Europa League final qualifying round).

Those are good teams they have gone toe to toe with so expect them to give a really good account of themselves at Slovan, who have also been dumped out of the Champions League and Europa League, leaving the latter after a wretched 6-2 loss at Aris Limassol.

KI are a truly well organised team who won't be easily broken down and can avoid defeat at the National Stadium in Bratislava.

DRAW OR KI KLAKSVIK DOUBLE CHANCE

HJK vs PAOK Salonika

Finnish side HJK Helsinki have won home games against Larne, Molde and Romanian champs Farul in Europa already this season, but will surely find Greek powers PAOK a bridge too far in Group G.

The Finns are enjoying another decent season but perhaps the most telling of their European results so far were the home-and-away losses to Qarabag which cost them a chance of reaching the Europa League.

PAOK are by some distance the best side HJK will have faced this year and the Greeks can take all three points.

HJK don't score many goals anyway and they are really going to struggle to break through a PAOK defence which has let in just four goals in ten matches this term.

PAOK SALONIKA TO WIN
