It is crunch time in La Liga with plenty still to be decided on the final day of the Spanish top-flight season.
Elche and Espanyol have already been relegated, but as many as six clubs could join them in the second tier next season and it all comes down to Sunday's final round of matches.
At the other end of the standings, Barcelona have already secured the La Liga title and the top six are set, but seventh spot is still up for grabs with Osasuna in pole position ahead of the season's final day.
- Osasuna to beat Girona
- Real Betis to beat Valencia
- Celta Vigo v Barcelona BTTS
- Espanyol to beat Almeria
- Getafe to win at Real Valladolid
Osasuna vs Girona
The final-day permutations in La Liga can be a little confusing but for Osasuna the equation is simple: beat Girona and they will finish seventh and secure a Europa Conference League berth.
They go into the final day in seventh, level on points with Athletic Bilbao, but they are ahead of the Basque outfit courtesy of a better head-to-head record.
Girona are just a point further back but Osasuna have the ball in their court and they are a tough nut to crack in Pamplona, having won four of their last five league fixtures at El Sadar.
They beat highflyers Athletic Bilbao most recently and look a good bet to see off Girona.
Real Betis vs Valencia
Real Betis are guaranteed sixth spot in La Liga regardless of what happens on the final day but they can nonetheless finish the season in style with victory over Valencia.
The Andalusians have secured Europa League qualification for next season and have won three of their last five matches.
They round off the campaign against a Valencia side who are still involved in the relegation conundrum and have not been in the best of form lately.
The Bats have won only two of their last six contests and were held to a draw by Espanyol in their last outing, a result which relegated Espanyol.
It has been a tumultuous season for Los Che, who started the campaign under the fiery Gennaro Gattuso before dismissing the Italian back in January and then appointing Ruben Baraja the following month.
It looks as though Baraja will keep the club up but there is a lot of work to be done at the Mestalla next term with the club having lost 18 league games this season.
They should be opposed at the Benito Villamarin, where Betis have lost only five of their 18 league fixtures this campaign.
Celta Vigo v Barcelona
Celta Vigo are in a pretty precarious position heading into the final day of the season, sitting just one point and one place above the relegation zone with their final match against champions Barcelona.
The only way Vigo can guarantee their safety is by taking down the Catalan giants as their head-to-head record against the other relegation candidates means they will be in danger if they fail to do so.
They will likely be reliant on Real Valladolid not getting anything from their match with Getafe, but they will attempt to keep their destiny in their own hands and that could lead to an open game.
That could lead to goals and Barcelona's recent away fixtures have also been high-scoring with their last three matches on the road producing a total of 13 goals.
Both teams have scored in three of Vigo's last four fixtures and that looks a wise selection against Xavi's champions, who have scored 69 times on their way to the La Liga title this season.
Espanyol vs Almeria
Espanyol are reportedly set to take La Liga's referees to court regarding recent decisions that have gone against them, including in their 2-2 draw with Valencia last time out, which confirmed their relegation to the Segunda Division.
On the pitch, however, Espanyol have looked pretty handy of late despite their relegation, taking five points from their last three matches.
They have gone down fighting, beating Rayo Vallecano and holding Atletico Madrid to a draw as part of that recent run, and they can cause relegation-threatened Almeria problems in their final match of the season at the Cornella-El Prat.
Almeria have only a one-point buffer to the bottom three and they will not be pleased that such a decisive fixture will be played on the road.
Only one of their 11 league victories this season have come away from home and they sit bottom of the La Liga away table with only seven points accrued from 18 matches.
That does not bode well for their final-day assignment and an Espanyol team who can treat this as a free-hit are worth backing to end a tumultuous season on a high.
Valladolid vs Getafe
Ultimately nothing else matters in the La Liga relegation battle if Real Valladolid, the team currently in 18th spot, lose to Getafe on the final day of the season and that outcome looks a distinct possibility.
Only basement boys Elche (23) have lost more league fixtures than Valladolid (20) this term and they missed a great opportunity to put points on the board in a 0-0 draw with lowly Almeria last time out.
They beat Barcelona 3-1 in their last home fixture, so there will be hope on the final day, but that was their only victory in their last seven fixtures and came against a Barca team who had already wrapped up the title.
Visitors Getafe are still in the relegation mix, although their tally of 41 points should keep them afloat. But they know they can guarantee survival for themselves and the teams around them with victory and they should get the job done.
It has been an underwhelming season for Getafe but they head into this match fresh from back-to-back victories over Real Betis and Osasuna.
