NFL Accumulator Betting Tips - Week 6

NFL Accumulator Betting Tips - Week 6

After landing a 16/1 five-fold in Week 5, we have another big-money NFL accumulator to take a look at as the season rolls on.

This week’s five-strong acca pays out at over 15/1 and features the final London game of the year as the Ravens and Titans get set to square off at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Recommended five-fold: Ravens -3, Bengals -2.5, Colts +5.5, Eagles -5.5, Under 43.5 points in Patriots v Raiders.

- Baltimore Ravens -3 at Tennessee Titans

- Cincinnati Bengals -2.5 vs Seattle Seahawks

- Indianapolis Colts +5.5 at Jacksonville Jaguars

- Philadelphia Eagles -5.5 at New York Jets

- Under 43.5 points in Patriots at Raiders

Ravens @ Titans

The London series wraps up with an intriguing AFC showdown between two teams taking contrasting approaches to their preparations for playing across the Pond.

The Ravens arrived in the UK on Monday having been taught a harsh lesson about turning up late in the week for these games when they lost 44-7 to the Jacksonville Jaguars on their last visit in 2017.

Meanwhile, the Titans have opted to fly out Thursday after practice.

Last week, we saw the benefit of acclimatising to a different time zone when the Jaguars, who spent two weeks in London, upset the Buffalo Bills, who had arrived on Friday.

Therefore, this looks like a nice spot to take the Ravens, who will be kicking themselves after throwing away a 10-3 fourth-quarter lead against the Pittsburgh Steelers last time out.

Baltimore have a strong run defence that should nullify Tennessee’s biggest threat, running-back Derrick Henry, while there are enough playmakers left on a banged-up offence to expose the bottom-ten ranked pass defence of the Titans.

RAVENS -3

Seahawks @ Bengals

The Bengals looked something close to their old selves when beating the Arizona Cardinals 34-20 last week to improve to 2-3.

It’s been a tough start to the season for Cincy with quarterback Joe Burrow having been playing on one good leg.

But the calf injury that had troubled him appears to have cleared up with Burrow moving freely on the field against Arizona, while Ja’Marr Chase took full advantage of his better deep-ball accuracy to record three touchdowns.

There can be no let up from the Bengals if they are to stay in the Super Bowl picture though, and they rate warm favourites to beat a Seahawks team fresh from a bye week.

Seattle has won three on the spin, but while the defence held the New York Giants to three points last time out, it has looked vulnerable at times.

The NFC West outfit had been giving up 29.3 points per game before beating up on Big Blue while only two teams have given up more passing yards per game on average than Seattle.

With Burrow and star receiver Chase back on the same page, the Bengals look a dangerous animal once more.

BENGALS -2.5

Colts @ Jaguars

The Jaguars have given glowing reviews to their two-week stay in London after beating both the Atlanta Falcons and Buffalo Bills to move to 3-2.

They lead the AFC South, ahead of this Sunday’s visit of Indianapolis, who beat the Tennessee Titans in Week 5 but lost quarterback Anthony Richardson to a shoulder injury for multiple weeks in that game.

Step forward former Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew, who will get the start in Richardson’s place for the Colts on an offence that’s starting to click.

Running-back Jonathan Taylor’s return last week has boosted the ground game of the Colts, a team with a top-10 rated offensive line and the impressive Shane Steichen calling the shots.

Jacksonville are growing into the season but haven’t performed well as a favourite in the Trevor Lawrence era (3-7 ATS) and are worth opposing on their return from their long London vacation.

COLTS +5.5

Patriots @ Raiders

These are the darkest days many New England fans will have ever experienced with the Patriots 1-4 and reeling after two heavy losses to the New Orleans Saints and Dallas Cowboys.

The offence is a complete mess, managing just three points in the last two weeks, and for the first time, head coach Bill Belichick’s position is being called into question.

Perhaps Belichick should reunite with his old offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, who is now head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders but struggling to win over the fanbase due to his safety-first approach.

McDaniels may have got one over on Belichick last year in a wild finish that saw the Raiders win the game with a Chandler Jones pick six as time expired, but anyone expecting that level of drama again may be disappointed.

Las Vegas won an ugly game against the Green Bay Packers on Monday 17-13, a result which means the Silver and Black have now gone six games without scoring more than 20 points.

McDaniels’ tendency for cautious play calling and Belichick’s talent deficiency in New England should lead to a low-scoring encounter.

UNDER 42.5 POINTS

Eagles @ Jets

Philadelphia take their 5-0 record north to New York to face the Jets in Week 6 and appear to match up well with Gang Green.

The reigning NFC champions are moving through the gears with quarterback Jalen Hurts putting up 375 yards of total offence in last week’s win over the LA Rams, who were ground down by the Eagles’ monstrous offensive and defensive lines.

Philly recorded four sacks on Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and should see plenty of Jets QB Zach Wilson.

Wilson lost a vital piece of his protection this week when offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker went down with a season-ending Achilles injury in last week’s win in Denver.

That was a good victory on the road by New York but they’ll struggle to follow up here.

Wilson’s poor accuracy and decision-making will likely leave him unable to expose the Eagles’ biggest weakness, a banged up secondary, and he can’t rely on the ground game to bail him out with Philadelphia giving up a league-low 61.2 rushing yards per game.

Expect the Eagles to wear down the Jets before sticking the knife in and moving to 6-0 via a wide-margin victory.

EAGLES -5.5
