NFL Betting Tips - Week 16

The 2023 NFL regular season is approaching a conclusion as teams prepare to battle it out in Week 16.

We’ve created a fivefold accumulator to consider ahead of the next round of fixtures, including a winner between two Super Bowl contenders in the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens.

- Buffalo Bills -12.0 against the Los Angeles Chargers

- Detroit Lions to beat Minnesota Vikings

- Tennessee Titans to beat Seattle Seahawks

- Miami Dolphins to beat Dallas Cowboys

- San Francisco 49ers to beat Baltimore Ravens

Buffalo Bills @ Los Angeles Chargers

Fresh off the back of an impressive home win over the Dallas Cowboys, the Buffalo Bills will now hit the road when they take on the Los Angeles Charges at SoFi Stadium in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The Bills produced a dominant performance to beat the Cowboys 31-10 at Highmark Stadium and will fancy their chances of racking up the points in LA this weekend.

After a 63-21 defeat to the Las Vegas Raiders last time out, the last thing the Chargers defence will want to see is an in-form Josh Allen heading to SoFi Stadium.

With Bills’ running back James Cook impressing against Dallas and ready to run the ball up the gut against Los Angeles, Buffalo should fall on the right side of the point spread in California this weekend.

BUFFALO BILLS -12.0

Detroit Lions @ Minnesota Vikings

After a shock defeat to the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field, the Detroit Lions got back to winning ways last time out against the Denver Broncos.

Blowing away Denver 42-17, confidence has been restored to Detroit as they make the trip to NFC North rivals the Minnesota Vikings.

The Lions have the chance to wrap up the divisional title in the Vikings' own backyard and it does not look like Minnesota have the weapons to stop them.

Losing three of their last four games, the Vikings have seen their season unravel after what was an impressive five-game winning streak.

With 26 touchdown passes already this season, expect Lions quarterback Jared Goff to get the job done and guide Detroit to victory on Sunday at US Bank Stadium.

DETROIT LIONS TO WIN

Seattle Seahawks @ Tennessee Titans

The Seattle Seahawks stunned the Philadelphia Eagles in Monday Night Football and will now hit the road on Sunday with a trip to the Tennessee Titans.

Seattle ended a four-match losing streak to take down an unravelling Eagles side at Lumen Field and they did it without starting quarterback Geno Smith.

Back-up QB Drew Lock stepped up to fill the void and it’s not certain how much game time he will get at Nissan Stadium this weekend.

However, whether it’s Smith or Lock making plays, it’s hard to see the Seahawks backing up their win over Philly with another victory on Sunday.

Seattle have been woeful on the road for much of this season, losing all of their last five away games.

While the Titans have been inconsistent in recent weeks with a run of win, loss, win, loss, they should have enough to come out on top in the home comforts of Nissan Stadium.

TENNESSEE TITANS TO WIN

Smith could return

Dallas Cowboys @ Miami Dolphins

In one of the standout games of the weekend, the Dallas Cowboys are again on their travels when they face the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium.

The Cowboys have proven they are almost unstoppable in Arlington with 15 wins on the spin at home.

However, it’s their road game that has been called into question against teams with a winning record and that was again highlighted with a heavy defeat up in Buffalo, New York.

While the conditions down in Florida will be much kinder for both teams, the Cowboys’ record on the road means we have gone with a Dolphins victory here.

Miami will be hoping Tyreek Hill can overcome his left ankle injury to take on this Cowboys’ defence that leaked 31 points against the Bills.

Even if the game does come too soon for Hill, side with the Dolphins in this one on Sunday.

MIAMI DOLPHINS TO WIN

Baltimore Ravens @ San Francisco 49ers

If the Cowboys against the Dolphins is one of the standout games of the weekend, then the clash between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers has to be the highlight in the early hours on Boxing Day.

These are two seriously strong teams and franchises that are deservedly in the conversation when it comes to a potential Super Bowl winner in February.

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is enjoying one of his best seasons, throwing 17 touchdowns for 3,105 yards already.

Jackson has been consistent throughout much of the campaign so far to guide the Ravens to 11-3.

A favourable run of fixtures have seen Baltimore win eight of their last nine games, with a shock 33-31 defeat to the Cleveland Brown the only blemish on their copybook in that time.

The Ravens’ next two games will be a good test to see where they are really at, as they travel to Levi’s Stadium, before a home game against the Dolphins.

At present it looks like the 49ers are the team to beat when it comes to winning the Super Bowl this season.

San Fran are on a six-game winning streak and quarterback Brock Purdy is being spoken about as the man to beat for the MVP award this season.

Blowing out strong teams like the Cowboys and the Eagles already this season, the 49ers could do the same to the Ravens on Boxing Day.

It certainly would be no disgrace to Baltimore, as they have come on leaps and bounds as a team this season.

Just going to Levi’s Stadium is one of the hardest games for an opposition side in the NFL at this moment and the 49ers can overcome this latest test of their title credentials.
