WATCH IN THE ZONE - JASON ROBINSON

Wolverhampton vs Liverpool

Issues in defence, and abundant firepower in attack, suggest that if Liverpool win at Molineux then it will be amid a flurry of goals.

Delighted to have kept Mo Salah away from a move to the Saudi Premier League, the Reds’ Egyptian prince will line up on the right side of an attacking three, permed from plenty of options, who should pick Wolves apart.

That said, Wolves are an inconsistent side. They are capable of playing Manchester United off the park, as they did in defeat at Old Trafford last month and then getting rightly battered by Brighton a week later.

Wolves don't score many goals so the absence of Virgil van Dijk and (probably) Trent Alexander-Arnold from the Reds' rearguard could help their cause.

Wolves crushed Liverpool 3-0 at home last season and can play some tidy stuff. The honours, however, should belong to Jurgen Klopp's unbeaten side.

LIVERPOOL & OVER 2.5 GOALS

Salah up front, Van Dijk banned

Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace

It's a huge week for Aston Villa as they prepare to head off to Poland to take on Legia Warsaw in the Europa Conference League, but first there's the small matter of a home showdown with Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

Villa have made a decent enough start with impressive wins over Everton and Burnley plus they smoothly progressed past Scottish Premiership side Hibernian (8-0 on aggregate) into the group stage of the Conference League.

They have been formidable at Villa Park of late with eight wins and a draw in their last nine matches and certainly don't look like a side who will be taking a backward step this term under Unai Emery.

Like Villa, Palace have won twice and beaten two sides who look set for a tough season, in the Eagles’ case Sheffield United and Wolverhampton.

They also create chances – only Brighton and Tottenham have fired off more shots – so expect them to trouble Villa.

BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE

Fulham vs Luton

It's played three, lost three for Luton, although it has been a tough opening to the season with trips to Brighton and Chelsea before a home showdown with in-form West Ham.

They are competitive and that gives them a chance – but once you get into a losing rut it's a hard streak to stop.

And Fulham, who have four points on the board and have also ticked off trips to Arsenal and Manchester City, should be good enough to dot up at Craven Cottage.

Away games are going to be difficult for the newly-promoted Hatters and there's a naivety sometimes about their defending. They will try to stay positive but that leaves them vulnerable to being picked off, which a class operator like Andreas Pereira can do with his eyes shut.

FULHAM TO WIN

Manchester United vs Brighton

One of the stand-out bets on Saturday is surely a lay of United against Brighton.

Erik ten Hag's first match in charge at Old Trafford a little over 12 months ago was against a Brighton side he maybe didn't know much about. Ninety minutes later he knew a lot more, however, after crashing to a deserved 2-1 loss, the main lesson being that the Seagulls were a far better side than his lot.

Since then United have improved under the Dutchman but Brighton also continue to impressive, having qualified for Europe.

United have actually yet to put in a good performance in four Premier League outings this season and are fortunate to have six points on the board. Brighton have three more and are the division's top scorers.

BRIGHTON OR DRAW DOUBLE CHANCE

Tottenham vs Sheffield United

Spurs are a short price to make light work of Sheffield United, although making light work of the Blades tends not to be easy.

United lost their first three matches – to Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest and Manchester City – but all by just one goal. They then stopped the bleeding with a well-deserved 2-2 draw against Everton.

Paul Heckingbottom's side are nothing if not grafters, should be disciplined and while they are likely to struggle to hold off Tottenham, they can limit the damage.

Spurs are flying with ten points on the board and Manchester United among their scalps. Last time out they hit five at Burnley with Son Heung-Min bagging himself a hat-trick.

Those were his first goals of the season as he steps up in Harry Kane's absence and the Korean's understanding with James Maddison, while not quite as telepathic as it seemed to be with Kane, is certainly blossoming. Take Son to hit the net at any time.

SON HEUNG-MIN ANYTIME SCORER

Son to add to his tally

West Ham vs Manchester City

There's a presumption, just four games into the season, that the title race is already over.

City are the only team with a 100 per cent record and we know from recent evidence that they are a tough bunch to dislodge once they go top.

But it's also true that they aren't quite purring yet, having had trouble seeing off Sheffield United and Newcastle, both of whom they outclassed.

Erling Haaland is among the goals but there's a definite sense that even though Phil Foden continues to step up, they miss Kevin de Bruyne's vision.

But to write off West Ham in this one would be dangerous. Indeed, it's arguable that since Pep Guardiola moved to Manchester there has probably never been more of a spring in the step of a Hammers' side, who could quite plausibly get something from this game.

Jarrod Bowen has seldom looked sharper and West Ham are more than happy to play without the ball, as they did to great effect at Brighton.

Ignore the obvious and focus on the value, which could be West Ham not to lose.

WEST HAM OR DRAW DOUBLE CHANCE
