Premier League Betting Tips - Matchday 13, Saturday

A sensational Saturday awaits Premier League fans this week, with plenty of title contenders on show, and the table could be much changed by the evening.

Chelsea can be used in a six-fold, which concludes when Arsenal travel to Brentford looking for three points to revive their title challenge.

Recommended six-fold: Sheffield United v Bournemouth BTTS, Brighton to win at Nottingham Forest, West Ham to win at Burnley, Crystal Palace to win at Luton, Chelsea to win at Newcastle, Arsenal to win at Brentford.

Sheffield United vs Bournemouth

The mood has lifted at Bramall Lane and Sheffield United fans will be looking forward to the visit of Bournemouth.

Victory over Wolves was followed by an away draw at Brighton for Sheffield United. With Everton's ten-point deduction thrown into the mix as well, Blades supporters suddenly feel like survival is possible.

Defence remains the biggest concern for United. They infamously shipped eight goals against Newcastle in September and have failed to keep a clean sheet in the Premier League this season.

Bournemouth beat Newcastle in their last match and will be approaching their trip to Sheffield with confidence. Expect an entertaining fixture and both teams to score.

Bournemouth have conceded 17 goals away from home in the Premier League this season. Nobody in the division has been more leaky on the road than the Cherries.

BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE

Nottingham Forest vs Brighton

Brighton have dazzled in Europe this season, twice beating Ajax 2-0, and this Saturday seems a great opportunity for the Seagulls to get back on track domestically.

A home draw last time out against Sheffield United left Brighton in eighth place in the table and Seagulls supporters are having a frustrating time in the league. A trip to Nottingham Forest should be a satisfying experience and Brighton can leave with all three points.

Forest have won only one of their last eight Premier League matches, losing 3-2 to West Ham in a gutbuster last time out. Steve Cooper's side have badly lost their way, getting sucked towards the relegation zone, and a visit from Brighton seems badly timed.

Ivorian international Simon Adingra is in fine form and the 21-year-old could wreak havoc against the increasingly nervous Forest rearguard.

Brighton have scored 25 goals in 12 Premier League matches this season and should carry too much firepower for their hosts.

BRIGHTON TO WIN

Burnley vs West Ham

Burnley fans have got used to watching their side lose at Turf Moor and more misery can be provided by West Ham on Saturday. Burnley have lost all six of their Premier League home games this season.

Four goals scored, 18 conceded, is a miserable home record for the Clarets this term, and they are rooted at the bottom of the table. A return to the Championship seems on the cards for Burnley and the atmosphere at Turf Moor has become full of understandable apprehension.

West Ham went into the international break with their tails up, having edged a ding-dong encounter with Nottingham Forest. Reports from the London Stadium suggest Jarrod Bowen will be available to play for West Ham, despite him missing England's latest match with a knee niggle.

The Hammers need to tighten up at the back – David Moyes has been fuming with how porous they have been on the road lately – but powder-puff Burnley are dreamy opponents for a defence needing to build confidence.

WEST HAM TO WIN

Luton vs Crystal Palace

Luton have struggled with their upgrade to the Premier League and could be set for further anguish on Saturday when Crystal Palace come to town.

Palace have produced some excellent away performances in recent weeks and will arrive in Luton expecting to leave with three points.

Luton have won only one of their 12 Premier League games this season. Everton's points deduction has obviously been a boost for the relegation-threatened Hatters, but they are yet to win at home in the league and know that relegation is almost certain unless they improve their Kenilworth Road form.

Palace won 1-0 at Old Trafford in September and beat Burnley 2-0 at Turf Moor. The Eagles have kept four clean sheets in their last eight matches in all competitions – a defensive solidity which will thrill manager Roy Hodgson. Expect the Londoners to repel Luton and pinch three points.

CRYSTAL PALACE TO WIN

Newcastle vs Chelsea

Newcastle have been suffering badly with injury problems in recent weeks and the Magpies appear vulnerable for the visit of Chelsea.

Kieran Trippier argued with Newcastle fans in the wake of their 2-0 defeat to Bournemouth – the Magpies last Premier League fixture – and there could be an air of discontentment around St James' Park after the Chelsea game.

The Bournemouth defeat followed a Champions League loss to Dortmund and Newcastle's injury list includes Callum Wilson, Dan Burn, Elliot Anderson, Harvey Barnes, Jacob Murphy, Matt Targett and Sven Botman.

Chelsea have enjoyed a revival in recent weeks and relatively new manager Mauricio Pochettino appears to have moulded the side into an effective unit. A 4-1 victory over Tottenham was followed by a 4-4 draw with Manchester City.

Chelsea have taken points off Liverpool and Arsenal this season, relishing the big games, and confidence is high for the trip to Newcastle.

CHELSEA TO WIN

Brentford vs Arsenal

Arsenal can be fancied to take three points from the Gtech Community Stadium to revive their title challenge. The Gunners have won just one of their last five road missions, but Mikel Arteta's side will expect to succeed at Brentford, where they won in the Carabao Cup earlier this season.

Brentford were rocked by an injury to Nathan Collins in the international break – the Irish centre-half suffered ankle ligament damage – and the Bees are running short of defenders. The loss of record signing Collins means Arsenal should run riot on Saturday.

ARSENAL TO WIN
