Premier League Betting Tips – Matchday 12, Sunday

Premier League Betting Tips – Matchday 12, Sunday

There are five Premier League matches on Sunday and each of those features an odds-on favourite.

In total there are eight odds-on jollies across this weekend’s ten top-flight fixtures and the key to profit could be picking the bankers from the blowouts.

We take a look at the four games kicking off at 2pm on Sunday, highlighted by Brentford’s trip to Anfield to face Liverpool.

Brighton welcome Sheffield United to the Amex, while Fulham travel north to take on Aston Villa.

West Ham picked up a big win against Olympiakos in the Europa League on Thursday night and the Hammers are back in action against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

- Both teams to score in Liverpool v Brentford

- Nottingham Forest to beat West Ham

- Over 2.5 goals in Brighton v Sheffield United

Liverpool vs Brentford

Liverpool have what is arguably the most dangerous attacking unit in the Premier League and Reds have hit 24 goals in 11 top-flight matches this season.

There have been 46 goals in the last 13 games involving Jurgen Klopp’s side and it is almost an all-out attack approach from Liverpool.

However, the Reds have been shipping goals at the other end too. It’s just three clean sheets in Liverpool’s last 13 all-competition matches and things have been rather shaky of late.

It was a much-changed Liverpool side that lost 3-2 in Toulouse, but it was a full-strength Reds line-up that could have easily conceded more than one goal at Luton last weekend.

Brentford are putting up good expected goals numbers this season and the Bees have hit the net eight times in their last three games. Backing both teams to score looks like the bet at Anfield.

BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE

West Ham vs Nottingham Forest

West Ham have lost three Premier League matches on the bounce and they look vulnerable at the London Stadium.

The Irons were hammered 4-1 by Aston Villa, disappointing when defeated 1-0 at home by Everton and outplayed when losing 3-2 to Brentford last weekend.

David Moyes’ men were also in European action on Thursday night and it’s a pretty thin Hammers squad that is having to deal with multiple competitions.

Forest were excellent when beating Villa 2-0 last time out, it’s just two defeats in eight games for Steve Cooper’s side and the Tricky Trees look huge value on Sunday.

NOTTINGHAM FOREST TO WIN

Brighton vs Sheffield United

Win or lose, Brighton are the great entertainers and we can expect another high-scoring show on Sunday.

The Seagulls have seen the net bulge 26 times in their last eight games and there is nothing but a forward-thinking approach from Roberto De Zerbi.

The South Coast side have scored in all of their eight matches at the Amex this season and they have hit at least two goals in six of those games.

Sheffield United have scored in three of their last four outings, and they showed enough in a 2-1 win over Wolves last weekend to suggest they can contribute to a goal-laden game on Sunday.
