There’s a busy Saturday of Premier League action ahead with six games down for decision, culminating in what should be a cracking contest between Aston Villa and Arsenal in the teatime game.
The action begins at Selhurst Park when Crystal Palace entertain Liverpool, while Manchester vs Bournemouth could be an entertaining tussle and is one of four games in the traditional 3pm slot.
Here's our look ahead to Saturday's Premier League action alongside best bets in all six games.
- Liverpool HT/FT
- Brighton to win and over 1.5 goals
- Man Utd to win and BTTS
- Under 2.5 Goals Sheff Utd vs Brentford
-Wolves to beat Nottingham Forest
-Aston Villa vs Arsenal BTTS
Crystal Palace vs Liverpool
Crystal Palace gained their only home league win of the season all the way back in early September and have picked up just a solitary success in eight recently.
Roy Hodgson insisted that Palace fans "have been spoiled" after they reacted to a home defeat against Bournemouth by booing their side off in midweek - perhaps the first sign of things cracking for the veteran boss.
Palace haven't beaten Liverpool at home since November 2014, though this game ended scoreless back in February.
Six of the last eight meetings have resulted in Liverpool shutting Palace out, while the Eagles have failed to score in four of their seven home Premier League games this season.
The Reds have scored five first half goals in their last six games - including a blank in that regard at Man City - and can ease towards victory here by getting out in front early.
Brighton vs Burnley
Brighton's last three Premier League wins at the Amex Stadium have all featured over 2.5 goals, while both teams scored in draws with Liverpool, Fulham and Sheffield United amongst that run that sees them unbeaten in six on their own patch in the league.
Roberto De Zerbi's side have now won two of their last three in the league after a dip in form and they will fancy continuing that good run against a Burnley side who easily dispatched Sheffield United last weekend, but who were poor in midweek at Wolves.
Vincent Kompany's side have lost five of seven on the road so far and more misery awaits on the south coast.
BRIGHTON TO WIN AND OVER 1.5 GOALS
Manchester United vs Bournemouth
Erik ten Hag will have been relieved to get a midweek win over Chelsea after mounting speculation about his tenure at Old Trafford.
A visit from Bournemouth looks a good chance to follow that up - Man Utd have won seven of the last eight meetings between these sides - but the Cherries sit fifth in the Premier League's six-game form table, winning four times of late.
Bournemouth have scored nine goals whilst collecting ten points from a run of games against Newcastle, Sheffield United, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace and they will be a threat once more in this game.
Luton are the only Premier League team in the last seven not to score at Old Trafford. United may get the three points here, but it's unlikely to be straightforward for them.
Sheffield United vs Brentford
New Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder had a tough return to Bramall Lane in midweek as Liverpool ran out comfortable winners. The Blades boss is set to be missing as many as eight players when Brentford come calling.
Thomas Frank, meanwhile, has a concern over key creative influence Bryan Mbeumo after he picked up a knock at Brighton as his side look to arrest a run of three defeats in their last four.
The home side meanwhile have lost three in a row, the most damaging being the 5-0 reverse at Burnley last weekend.
United have only managed to find the net four times in their last six games, while Brentford have also struggled in front of goal recently with the exception of a 3-1 home win over Luton.
The Bees have only scored eight goals in seven away games so far and this should be an attritional battle at Bramall Lane.
Wolves vs Nottingham Forest
Wolves weren't exactly stylish in the midweek win over Burnley but they got the job done as Gary O'Neil hailed a "massive win" for his side over a Clarets team he terms as well organised.
Nottingham Forest perhaps don't quite fit that same billing as they have shipped a dozen goals in their last four games.
Things are beginning to look ominous for Forest now and Molineux is no easy place to be going.
Wolves are unbeaten in five at home, no mean feat considering that Man City, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Spurs were the visitors before Burnley in midweek.
They were desperately unlucky at Fulham recently and made Arsenal sweat at the Emirates last Saturday and, on their own patch, Wolves are fancied to account for a Forest side low on confidence
Aston Villa vs Arsenal
What a cracker bringing up the rear as Villa Park gets set to welcome league leaders Arsenal for this teatime teaser.
Unai Emery comes up against his former club and the Villa boss does so off the back of a thoroughly deserved win over champions Manchester City on Wednesday, a 14th straight home win for his side.
Arsenal, meanwhile, left it as late as they could to edge Luton in a seven-goal Kenilworth Road thriller on Tuesday, Declan Rice scoring their winner with the final act.
Worryingly for Mikel Arteta, the Hatters scored three times despite having less than ten touches in the Arsenal box, with goalkeeper David Raya under the microscope again.
Arteta might be just as well to swallow some pride and restore Aaron Ramsdale between the sticks.
Raya is perhaps better with his feet, but it's the England shot-stopper who looks safer in terms of keeping the ball out.
This has the potential to be a quality encounter. Arsenal have lost only two of their last 21 at Villa Park, but this current incarnation under Emery look as good a Villa side as we've seen in a generation.
It's tough to call and taking both to score looks the safest outcome.
