Premier League Betting Tips - Matchday 16, Sunday

There are some juicy contests taking place on Sunday, with Newcastle's trip to Tottenham taking centre stage at 4.30pm, but here we take a look at the earlier kick-offs, with three fixtures that will pique interest at both ends of the table.

Luton entertain champions Manchester City following their heart-breaking last-gasp loss to Arsenal on Tuesday, while City will also be looking to respond after their 1-0 defeat at Aston Villa.

Everton will be in high spirits when they take on Chelsea. The Toffees thumped Newcastle 3-0 on Thursday to move out of the bottom three, while Chelsea are licking their wounds after losing 2-1 at Manchester United.

Fulham and West Ham both landed three points during the week so a lively London derby can be expected at Craven Cottage.

- Manchester City to win & both teams score

- Everton to beat Chelsea

- West Ham draw no bet

Luton vs Manchester City

Luton have put in some spirited performances this season as they embrace life in the Premier League but they have struggled to turn their enthusiasm into points as they battle to stay in the top flight.

The Hatters have picked up just two league wins so far and were nudged back into the bottom three following Everton's win over Newcastle on Thursday evening.

Things could have looked better for Luton but last-gasp goals have hit them hard with West Ham, Burnley and Liverpool all scoring late on to deny the Bedfordshire side a point or three.

And just this week, Luton went toe-to-toe with league leaders Arsenal before a 97th-minute winner from Declan Rice sealed a 4-3 victory for the Gunners.

So there is plenty for Rob Edwards and his men to be encouraged about, but they take on a City side who are in the remarkable position of being winless in four league matches following three draws and a loss.

It could either be a good time to be facing City given their recent struggles, or a bad one if they pitch up in a merciless mood in a bid to return to winning ways, but either way it is hard not to side with Pep Guardiola's men given the quality on show.

Luton will give it a good go and could at least get on the scoresheet but a City win looks the most likely outcome.

MANCHESTER CITY TO WIN & BOTH TEAMS SCORE

Everton vs Chelsea

Everton moved out of the bottom three with a rousing 3-0 win over Newcastle at Goodison Park on Thursday and a similar performance could see them conquer Chelsea too.

The Toffees appear to have been galvanised by their ten-point deduction for financial irregularities and there is a siege mentality about Sean Dyche's men, particularly on home soil.

Everton have won four of their last six matches and they have shown an appetite for battle that is lacking in the Chelsea ranks.

The Londoners were beaten 2-1 by Manchester United on Thursday and have won just one of their last four matches.

A raucous Goodison crowd will play their part and Everton look a decent bet to secure their third win of the week.

EVERTON TO WIN

Fulham vs West Ham

Fulham's last four league matches have featured goals totals of 5, 7, 5 and 4 but a more conservative scoreline is expected when West Ham visit on Sunday.

The Cottagers should be in good spirits following two home wins culminating in Wednesday's 5-0 hammering of Nottingham Forest.

However, they face a West Ham side on a six-game unbeaten run in all competitions.

The Hammers have won five of those fixtures including a 2-1 victory at Tottenham on Thursday.

David Moyes' men won 1-0 when they visited Fulham last season and they should be backed to nick another victory but it may be worth keeping the draw on side given the decent form of their hosts.
