The relentless Premier League schedule ramps up this week and there are two matches taking place on Tuesday.
At 19:30, Wolverhampton Wanderers welcome Burnley to Molineux, while the 20:15 kick-off will see relegation-threatened Luton host league leaders Arsenal.
- Wolves to win
- Arsenal to win and both teams to score
Wolves vs Burnley
Wolves have lost three of their last four games but all three defeats were on the road and they can enjoy a return to home comforts when they host Burnle.
Gary O’Neill’s side have beaten Tottenham and Manchester City and drawn with Newcastle and Aston Villa in their last four matches at Molineux.
They weathered an early barrage from Arsenal to stay in the game at the weekend, eventually falling short in their comeback as they lost 2-1.
However, there were plenty of signs from that performance and they can pick up three points against Vincent Kompany’s visitors.
The Clarets beat Sheffield United 5-0 on Saturday but remain second-bottom of the table after losing 11 of their 14 matches on return to the top flight.
In fact, Burnley have only taken one point from 12 games this term against teams outside of the bottom four.
Only Sheffield United have conceded more goals than their 32 and they look vulnerable against a Wolves side that have put in some solid home performances recently.
The away team look likely to come back down to earth with a bump in this clash.
Luton vs Arsenal
Arsenal are top of the table after a weekend in which three of the top five teams dropped points.
The Gunners got the better of Wolves 2-1 at home and will be hoping to open up a bigger gap at the top of the table, after seeing Manchester City go three games without a Premier League win for the first time since 2017.
Mikel Arteta’s men visit Luton and the Hatters have shown that they are no pushovers this season, particularly on home soil.
Both teams have found the net in five of Luton's last six Premier League home matches and the same is fancied in this matchup.
Arsenal’s defence has been strong this season but this will be a stern test on the road, with Luton’s direct and physical style an awkward one to come up against.
Both teams have found the net in seven of the Hatters’ last nine matches and a repeat of that looks likely in this matchup.
However, Arsenal’s attacking talents look likely to cause the home team enough issues that they will be able to secure three points and extend their lead at the top of the table.
ARSENAL TO WIN AND BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
