Premier League Betting Tips - Matchday 32, Sunday

While Manchester United and Liverpool face off in Sunday’s headline act, there are two other Premier League games to look forward to at Bramall Lane and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

With a 17:30 kick-off, Chelsea will be looking to build on their 4-3 comeback win over United on Thursday when they make the trip to the Steel City to face Sheffield United.

To round off the week’s action from the English top flight, Tottenham Hotspur will look to continue their push for a top-four finish when they play host to Nottingham Forest in a fixture that has been brought forward from its original Monday date to an 18:00 kick-off on Sunday.

Chelsea Boosted By United Win

Mauricio Pochettino will have been a delighted and relieved manager on Thursday night after two added-time goals from Cole Palmer saw his side stun Manchester United 4-3 at Stamford Bridge.

That memorable night for the Blues will have put a spring in their step as they prepare to face a Sheffield United side who look bound for a return to the Championship next season.

Chris Wilder’s team were also in action on Thursday night and, while they gave Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool something of a scare when equalising at Anfield just before the hour mark, the Reds who came out on top 3-1.

The Blades have now scored in all of their last three Premier League games but are still without a win since a 3-1 victory over Luton almost two months ago.

Chelsea have not kept a clean sheet in their last 12 games in all competitions, so United might be able to keep their scoring run going on Sunday.

However, Chelsea should have enough quality all over the park to leave South Yorkshire with the spoils.

Palmer On Fire

Cole Palmer is fast becoming the main man at Stamford Bridge following his summer move from Manchester City and he continues to grab the headlines.

A hat-trick against the Red Devils, including the two injury-time goals, saw Palmer become the hero for the Blues once again.

He is a ruthless finisher from the penalty spot and dangerous in and around the box in open play, so don’t be surprised to see Palmer add to his 16 Premier League goals for the season this weekend.

Palmer was on the scoresheet in the 2-0 win over the Blades at Stamford Bridge earlier this season and the 21-year-old can strike again at Bramall Lane.

Spurs To Boost CL Hopes

Looking to Sunday’s late game, Tottenham can take another step closer to a top-four finish when they host Nottingham Forest in London.

Ange Postecoglou’s side have dropped valuable points in winnable games against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Fulham and West Ham in their last six league outings.

The Australian tactician will know his side can’t afford many more slip-ups if they are to pip Aston Villa to the coveted fourth spot in the table.

Spurs’ defence has been an issue, with just one clean sheet in their last 11 games in all competitions.

Forest have scored in seven of their last nine away games and should be able to get on the scoresheet on Sunday.

However, with Hueng-Min Son, Timo Werner and former Forest star Brennan Johnson in their ranks, Spurs should have the firepower to come out on top.
