Premier League Betting Tips - Matchday 27 Sunday, Monday

After a reduced fixture schedule last weekend for the EFL Cup final, we are back to usual in the Premier League this week.

There are no fewer than seven games planned on Saturday, while there's the small matter of the Manchester derby on Sunday afternoon.

Elsewhere, relegation-threatened Burnley host Bournemouth, while fellow strugglers Sheffield United take on title-challengers Arsenal, and we have picked out a bet for each game.

  • Over 2.5 goals in Burnley vs Bournemouth
  • Arsenal to win and over 3.5 goals vs Sheffield United

Burnley vs Bournemouth

Both Burnley and Bournemouth will be desperate to get back to winning ways after a miserable few weeks in February.

Neither the Clarets nor the Cherries tasted victory last month, but Sunday's meeting at Turf Moor will give both a realistic chance to end that barren run.

Burnley are winless in nine matches in all competitions, and relegation looms for Vincent Kompany's men, who have failed to adapt to the top flight all season.

However, they will feel they can compete with Andoni Iraol's side if Cherries striker Dominic Solanke fails to pass a fitness check. The former Liverpool man is a doubt for Sunday's trip to Lancashire, and his absence would even the playing field somewhat.

However, even without Solanke, this should be a high-scoring affair. Burnley have conceded 58 goals this season, while Bournemouth have shipped 47, and neither side come into this game with any confidence at the back.

If Solanke is fit, then Bournemouth should run away with proceedings, but the safe bet is over 2.5 goals, which has landed in Burnley's last five games and six of Bournemouth's previous seven on the road.

OVER 2.5 GOALS

Sheffield United vs Arsenal

Two teams at opposite ends of the Premier League table will meet at Bramall Lane on Monday as Sheffield United host Arsenal.

While the Blades are 12 points from safety due to their poor goal difference, Arsenal could return to the top of the table if they win and results go their way this weekend.

Chris Wilder's side have only won one of their previous seven in all competitions, but they continue to concede goals at an alarming rate.

They have conceded five goals or more in six games already this season, including a 5-0 defeat to Arsenal in October.

Since failing to win their final three league matches in December, Arsenal have won six games in a row in the Premier League, and they look to have found their rhythm at the perfect time under Mikel Arteta.

He should have the majority of his first-team squad at his disposal, and the gulf in class will be evident from the outset. The Gunners have already proven to be good for their opponents, and they could score five again against a hapless Sheffield United XI.

ARSENAL TO WIN AND OVER 3.5 GOALS
