Luton vs Everton Betting Tips - Premier League

Luton Town will look to give their Premier League survival hopes a huge shot in the arm on Friday night when they welcome Everton to Kenilworth Road.

The Toffees have endured another tough season and their points deduction earlier this term certainly did not help their cause.

However, an impressive run of four wins in five games have ensured Sean Dyche’s team will be playing top-flight football next season, meaning all the onus is on Luton to get the much-needed three points on Friday night.

Luton To Complete Hat-Trick

Luton have already faced Everton twice this season and both times the game has finished 2-1 in favour of the Hatters.

These sides met in the Premier League for the first time in September, with Tom Lockyer and Carlton Morris both getting on the scoresheet in an impressive win for Rob Edwards’ side at Goodison Park.

The two teams were drawn against each other in the FA Cup in January and again Luton left Goodison with a 2-1 victory thanks to goals from Vitaliy Mykolenko (og) and Cauley Woodrow.

Having done it twice before this season, and with the benefit of home advantage at Kenilworth Road, Luton are capable of making it three wins on the spin against the Toffees.

Their previous meetings this term have shown this could be another end-to-end game, so it would be little surprise to see both sides getting on the scoresheet on Friday night.

LUTON TO WIN AND BTTS

Morris Can Be Hatters’ Hero

If Luton are to avoid the drop back down to the Championship, striker Morris will have played a key role in a feat that few expected the club to achieve.

With 10 goals to his name in the Premier League, only six Englishmen in the top flight have scored more goals than Morris this season.

Having bagged a winning goal against Everton in the league earlier this term, Morris knows how to get at this Toffees’ defence and could be the man to haunt the Merseyside outfit again this week.

Barkley To Land In Hot Water

Ross Barkley will be doing all he can for the Luton cause this week and his over-enthusiasm could land him in hot water with the officials against his former employers.

Barkley made his name at Everton before going on to play for Chelsea, Aston Villa and Nice before landing at Luton.

Perhaps looking to prove a point against his former club, it would be little surprise to see the ex-Toffee add to the five yellow cards he’s picked up in the league this season.

Only the injured Issa Kabore, who will miss Friday’s game with an ankle issue, has picked up more yellows for Luton in the Premier League this term than Barkley.
