Premier League Betting Tips - Matchday 20, Sunday

Arsenal suffered a major setback in the title race as they were beaten 2-0 by West Ham on home soil earlier in the week.

The Gunners will be looking to bounce back as they face Fulham in this New Year’s Eve clash, with the Cottagers struggling themselves after losing their last three games in the league.

Elsewhere Tottenham are also on the comeback trail after suffering a 4-2 demolition at the hands of Brighton in midweek and they host one of the in-form teams in the division, Bournemouth.

  • Over 3.5 goals in Tottenham vs Bournemouth

Fulham vs Arsenal

Arsenal were beaten by West Ham on Thursday but are fancied to get the better of Fulham when the two meet in this London derby.

The Gunners have one of the best defensive records in the division, conceding just 18 times in 19 matches.

They should be able to shut out a Fulham team that have suffered defeats without scoring in their last three league games.

Two of those losses came against Bournemouth and Burnley and these opponents are a significant step up on that.

The Gunners have won eight of the last 10 meetings between these two sides and should be able to demonstrate the gulf in class between these two in this one.

Expect Mikel Arteta’s side to be sharper in front of goal after their poor performance against West Ham and they can win a game in which they also keep a clean sheet.

ARSENAL WIN TO NIL

Tottenham vs Bournemouth

Bournemouth have been one of the in-form teams in English football in recent weeks, winning six of their last seven matches and drawing the other 2-2 with Aston Villa after a late equaliser from Unai Emery’s men.

The Cherries travel to take on Spurs high on confidence as a result and will take plenty of hope from Tottenham’s continued injury issues.

Ange Postecoglou’s side are without first-choice central defenders Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven for this matchup while Dejan Kulusevski will also be absent after picking up his fifth yellow card against Brighton.

Despite not being able to select his best eleven, Postecoglou insists his players continue with their brand of attacking football and, as seen against the Seagulls, that can leave them open.

Tottenham's league fixtures have averaged 3.53 goals per game this term and as they face a high-flying Bournemouth side, four or more goals is fancied to be scored in this one.

Even without Kulusevski, Spurs possess plenty of top-level attacking talent and they can pressure a Bournemouth back line that has conceded 32 times in 18 matches.

Over 3.5 goals is the selection in what should be a cracker to end the year at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
